"Did you see your family?" Sister Bai asked with a smile. Ye Zhongkai hurriedly replied, "I saw my mother. She passed away several months ago."
"Then ask yourself if you have failed to fulfill your mother's last wish," Sister Bai said. Ye Zhongkai thought for a moment and said somewhat dejectedly, "Maybe so."
"Then burn the things your mother wants for her tomorrow, and she will be able to reincarnate." Sister Bai said, and Ye Zhongkai agreed. He said goodnight to Sister Bai and then hung up the phone.
Bai Jie put down her phone and saw Qi Man sitting on the sofa with her legs crossed, playing with a gun. Seeing this, Bai Jie laughed and said, "Captain Qi, are you going to make do on the sofa tonight?"
"My longest record is five days and five nights without sleep. After that, I will be extremely exhausted. So, you'd better get those who want to take you down quickly, otherwise I won't be able to rest during this period."
"Uh, you misunderstood me. What I meant was that if you're going to play with guns, it's better to do it in bed," Sister Bai laughed, but a gun was already being thrown at her. Qi Man, her face flushed, said:
"This captain has no interest in that!"
Sister Bai caught the gun and said with a wry smile, "I was just worried you'd get bored playing by yourself."
Qi Man ignored him and continued wiping the gun in her hand. Sister Bai didn't say anything more, and the shameless man had already decided to book a double room. He fell fast asleep soon after lying down, and Qi Man had to pinch his nose to wake him up the next day.
When Bai Jie woke up, she looked unhappy. It wasn't until Qi Man brought the food to him and called out, "Young Master, the sun outside is hot enough to bake you alive. Shall we have a meal?"
"Since you still know I'm hungry, I won't complain to the higher-ups about you," Sister Bai said resentfully. After washing up and eating, Sister Bai and Qi Man drove to the amusement park.
But as soon as they arrived at the amusement park, Sister Bai frowned. There were many parents with their children playing inside; the park wasn't closed and the altar prepared as she had instructed.
At this moment, Sister Bai immediately took out her phone and called Ye Zhongkai, asking, "What's going on with the amusement park? Didn't I say it couldn't operate today because we needed to prepare the altar?"
"Mr. Lin, you can't blame me. I'm still negotiating with the amusement park owner. That guy is so stubborn. After hearing what I said, he actually said he'd stay open tonight and that tickets would be half price today!"
Ye Zhongkai's tone was full of bitterness, and Sister Bai also sneered, saying, "It seems he's really not afraid of getting into trouble. In that case, don't bother, come out."
Sister Bai said something, but Ye Zhongkai chimed in, "Mr. Lin, please don't! Look how many people are at the amusement park today. And many of them might stay until the evening because of the half-price discount. Those are lives at stake; can we just stand by and do nothing?"
Ye Zhongkai's voice was urgent and loud, even Qi Man beside him could hear it. Qi Man thought for a moment and said, "Sister Bai, let's go over and teach that amusement park owner a lesson. There are innocent people here, it would be bad if something really happened."
Sister Bai thought for a moment and then nodded. Qi Man immediately smiled and put her hands on his shoulders, saying, "I'll take care of it later. Chairman Lin is a master, so let's not stoop to their level."
Seeing Qi Man's deliberately forced smile, Sister Bai couldn't help but laugh and said, "Alright, I don't really not value human life."
The two walked into the amusement park together and headed straight for an office. Before they even opened the door, they could hear a loud commotion inside, including a voice slamming on a table:
"You believe what a guy from the mainland says? Saying my amusement park is a mess? That's hilarious. What's the point of all this charade? It's just to swindle money from you idiots! Even if my place is a mess, I'll stay open until dawn. If there's no one there, I'll offer a 90% discount!"
The voice had the air of someone who thought he was a nouveau riche. Sister Bai, standing outside the door, laughed and said, "This is forcing me to take action!"
After saying that, Sister Bai kicked the door open. The man was still pointing at Ye Zhongkai and the others and cursing before he could react.
Sister Bai didn't even need to identify him. She walked over, grabbed the man by the collar, and slapped his fat face several times.
The man was immediately stunned by the slap, and Ye Zhongkai and his staff were also dumbfounded. When the man finally came to his senses, he roared, "Who are you? How dare you hit me!"
"I'm the mainland guy you were talking about. Are you a little more clear-headed now?" Sister Bai asked with a sneer. The man glared at her and tried to punch her, but then he screamed in pain.
Sister Bai slammed her knee into his stomach and said in a deep voice, "It seems you're not thinking straight. If you're not thinking straight, then you can't make decisions. Mr. Ye, go and make an announcement to clear everyone out. Contact the police and arrest all the staff who try to stop you."
"Heh, try catching me and see what happens. I'll complain about you to death!" The amusement park owner was a very stubborn person and still wouldn't back down.
At this point, Sister Bai asked Ye Zhongkai, "Have you explained things clearly to him?"
"I've explained everything clearly, and I've even said that if we don't shut it down today, people could die. But he just won't believe me!" Ye Zhongkai said helplessly. Sister Bai said "Oh," and grabbed the boss's head, slamming it against the table.
With a "thud," the amusement park owner rolled his eyes and collapsed limply to the ground. Sister Bai let go of his hand and said, "Never mind him for now, just get rid of him. We'll settle our score with him when we get to work."
