Yuanshi, however, did not intend to let Yunxiao off the hook, saying, "This boy's words insulted the sages, he deserves to be listed on the list." After saying that, he was about to hit Yunxiao with his jade ruyi, but Tongtian blocked it with his sword.
Before Tongtian could speak, Yuanshi angrily said, "How can we let this go so easily, given the dignity of a sage?" He was about to strike again when Tongtian tried to stop him, but Laozi blocked him with his cane. Tongtian was furious, saying, "Laozi, you've gone too far!" Unfortunately, he was blocked by Laozi, and even his anger could not stop Yuanshi from killing him.
Yuanshi originally intended to kill Yunxiao, but Xuantian stopped him. Xuantian used the Measuring Ruler to block Yuanshi, and then with a flick of his sleeve, he put Yunxiao away, saying, "This child's words insulted the sage, so I will suppress her in the East Sea Eye for a thousand years. We are family after all, why force her so much?"
Laozi was taken aback, thought for a moment, and then let it go. He said to Yuanshi, who was still somewhat unwilling, "Junior Brother, let's go back now." After saying that, he left. Yuanshi snorted coldly, gathered his disciples, and returned to Kunlun Mountain.

Seeing that Laozi and Yuanshi had left, Tongtian was furious. He turned around and cupped his hands to Xuantian, saying, "Thank you for your help, Senior Brother."
Xuan Tian waved his hand and said, "There's no need for thanks. Since we are fellow disciples and both transformed from Pangu, it's only right that we help each other."
Upon hearing this, Tongtian felt as if he had swallowed a fly. Fellow disciples? Fellow Pangus? Laozi and Yuanshi were the same, but did they even appreciate these sentiments? Perhaps he and they truly weren't on the same path. Tongtian thought with a touch of self-mockery.

The Three Immortals of the Clouds were all Tongtian's personal disciples and beloved students, especially Bixiao, who was deeply favored by Tongtian.
