The Monkey King picked up Pangu and stepped into the chaos, instantly appearing above Mount Buzhou. At the summit of Mount Buzhou, he opened a cave and placed Pangu inside. He then set up the Primordial Chaos Array at the summit of Mount Buzhou and incorporated time acceleration to heal Pangu's injuries.
After settling Pangu in, the Great Sage Equaling Heaven descended from the summit of Mount Buzhou to explore the beautiful world created by his elder brother Pangu. Mount Buzhou truly lived up to its reputation as the embodiment of Pangu's spine; it was filled with spiritual flowers and fruits, and spirit deer and white cranes roamed freely—a truly celestial scene. But alas, it could not last.
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven walked step by step on Mount Buzhou when he suddenly saw dark clouds gathering in the distance, flashing lightning, and purple at the center of the thunderclouds. Good heavens, who possessed such power to trigger such a powerful tribulation of eighty-one transformations at the very beginning of the primordial world? The Great Sage Equaling Heaven waved his hand, and a colorful cloud and a chair appeared. He lay down on the chair, letting the cloud drift away.
The surrounding flowers, grass, and trees of the small hill were scorched, and in the center lay a deep pit, about a hundred feet deep. Inside the pit, a ten-foot-tall, five-colored peacock stood upright, blood trickling from its beak, for it was a proud peacock. Facing the heavenly tribulation, it stood proudly, and even if its soul returned to the underworld, it would have no regrets, for it was the proud peacock. The peacock's tail feathers consisted of only five feathers: red, blue, black, white, and yellow. Having cultivated them to their peak, they could brush away anything, making them extremely powerful. However, while the Five-Colored Divine Light was strong, it could only brush away acquired things, having no effect on innate ones. As for the peacock's origin, it was said that when Pangu created the world, a drop of innate five-elemental spiritual energy fell upon this mountain, making it a gathering place for the five elements. At the center of this spiritual energy, an egg was formed—this egg was the peacock.
Although the peacock was undergoing tribulation, how could he not be aware of his surroundings? He had already noticed a young Taoist priest abruptly stop on a colorful cloud, assuming he intended to steal his Five-Colored Divine Light. However, the priest remained still for a long time, so he stopped paying attention to the Taoist and focused on fighting the heavenly tribulation. When he reached the eightieth layer of heavenly lightning, the peacock was covered in blood and crawled at the bottom of the pit. Gone was his former pride; his eyes were filled with despair. Looking at the final bolt of heavenly lightning, tears welled in his eyes. He knew that he was probably about to be annihilated. Recalling the past, he was filled with resentment, yet also with helplessness.
"Aren't you a proud peacock? Have you been beaten down like this? Where is your usual pride? If others won't help you, you have to help yourself. Don't you know that? You must know that there is no success without struggle, and no rainbow without experiencing wind and rain. Get up! Remember that you are a proud peacock. Even if your soul is scattered, you must forge ahead and dare to fight."
As if the Taoist's words had struck a chord with him, he thought, "Yes, I am a peacock, the only peacock in the world. Even in death, I will die standing, and I will die magnificently." He stood up, his eyes filled with resolute determination. He channeled his last bit of demonic energy, intending to detonate his inner core and perish together with the heavenly tribulation.
“Foolish child, pride is not about killing you. If you die, how can there be any hope?” After saying this, the Taoist waved his hand, and the weather returned to clear skies. The surrounding flowers, plants, and trees also regained their vitality and grew rapidly.
The heavenly tribulation had passed, and the peacock had vanished. A handsome young man stood in the same spot. Upon seeing the Taoist priest, he knelt down and said urgently, "Master, please accept me as your disciple."
"I bestow upon you the name Kong Xuan, and I also bestow upon you the Five Elements Divine Armor for defense, and the Innate Spiritual Treasure Qiankun Spear for offense."
Kong Xuan bowed and thanked his master. The Five Elements Divine Armor was formed from Kong Xuan's five-colored feathers, granting him immunity to the five elements' attacks.
The Qiankun Spear was formed from chaos. Although it is not a supreme treasure, it surpasses ordinary spiritual treasures. A single strike can unleash the power of heaven and earth.
After seeing the magic weapon, Kong Xuan was shocked, because his Five-Colored Divine Light had already transformed into the Five Elements Divine Armor on his body.
"Come, accompany your master on a journey through the primordial wilderness in search of treasures," he said, beckoning Kong Xuan to ascend to the clouds, and they flew off into the distance.
"Disciple, come and massage your legs, I'm tired from walking."
"Disciple, please pour your master a cup of tea. Your master is thirsty."
"Disciple, come here..."
Kong Xuan was seen foaming at the mouth and fainting on the colorful clouds, for reasons unknown.
After a long while, Kong Xuan woke up. "Disciple, how come we haven't found any magic treasures all day? Do you know where there are any?"
“Master, I would have taken the magic treasure long ago, but I know of a place with a naturally formed array. I found it in my inherited memories, but that place is too dangerous.”
"What danger? Won't I be there?"
Decades later, in the far south, the land was pitch black, as if it had been struck by lightning.
Just then, dark clouds suddenly filled the sky, plunging the world into darkness. In an instant, the darkness vanished, and the surroundings turned a purplish-red, accompanied by rumbling thunder.
“Disciple, there really is a magic weapon, and a very powerful one at that.”
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven, carrying Kong Xuan, soared into the sky, shouting, "You beast, come out now!" Instantly, a massive blade tens of miles long appeared, inscribed with the words "Divine Punishment." Could this be the Divine Punishment Blade, formed from the shattered fragments of the Primordial Treasure "Primordial Annihilation" during the collapse of the Primordial Space? The Great Sage Equaling Heaven dripped blood onto it, but the blade remained unmoved. Even probing it with his primordial spirit yielded no information.
"Forget it, let's just put it away and play with it." "Let's head back home," the Monkey King shouted.
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven and Kong Xuan rode on the clouds and flew towards Mount Buzhou. A year passed, and Mount Buzhou was still so small. The Great Sage Equaling Heaven grew impatient, grabbed Kong Xuan, transformed into a stream of purple light, and disappeared in a few flashes. When he reappeared, he was already on Mount Buzhou.
Kong Xuan: "Master, what kind of technique did you use just now? Teach your poor disciple!"
"Well, the Purple Stream Light Technique, but you can't use it yet. I'll teach it to you after you obtain a supreme innate treasure."
