The phantom snorted coldly. Although it made no sound, one could still sense its displeasure and anger.
Xuan Tian Dao Jun didn't take it to heart and said, "I have won this round. Do you agree, Daoist brother?"
The illusory figure glanced at Zhuangzi and the others who had returned. Suddenly, the Taiji Diagram emitted a burst of azure light, enveloping Zhuangzi and the others and drawing them inside. Then, the Mountain and River Fan in Mozi's hand flickered, and to Mozi's surprise, the restrictions that Han Fei had placed on it were broken. A golden circle flew out from within, and with a shake, an object fell down—Han Fei's Panlong Seal. Then, with a flash of golden light, it flew towards the Eight Views Palace of the Outer Heavens along with the Taiji Diagram and the other objects.
Han Fei picked up the Panlong Seal, examined it, and noticed the connection between his primordial spirit and the seal had returned. He looked at Xuan Tian Daojun with a puzzled expression. Daojun smiled and said, "The matter here is settled. The Ren and Chan sects have retreated. You should go down to the mortal realm to help Qin Jun unify the Southern Zhanbu Continent. Return later." He then pointed to the Panlong Seal and said, "Laojun wants to retrieve the Vajra Bracelet, but he dares not take the Panlong Seal with him. He had to give it up. Otherwise, I would have had a reason to take the Vajra Bracelet. What a pity." After saying this, he sighed repeatedly.
Han Fei and the others exchanged bewildered glances. They hadn't expected their teacher to be scheming against someone else's magic weapon. He had destroyed one of the person's avatars, yet he still didn't want to let go of the person's magic weapon. Brilliant!
The Xuan Tian Dao Lord glanced at the group, shook his head, and vanished in a flash of light, seemingly returning to Penglai Island. Some divine senses in the void also withdrew with some regret, clearly feeling they hadn't had enough of the battle.
When Liao Zhen and the others descended to the mortal realm, the Qi army camp had already been wiped out. After inquiring further, they understood why Lao Jun had retreated earlier. It turned out that when Liao Zhen left, he had instructed Li Si and the others to prepare after they ascended to the mortal realm, so that they could launch an attack while they were still victorious and crush the Qi army in one fell swoop. However, Li Si and the others were even more ruthless. After the few high-level cultivators had all left, they had Wang Jian cut his head to directly block the remaining heavenly soldiers. Li Si and Wei Liao personally led their troops out and slaughtered the Qi army, making them run for their lives.
Wang Jian, in his Great Witch form, easily vanquished the hundreds of thousands of heavenly soldiers, treating them as nothing. He transformed into his hundred-foot-tall Great Witch form, hacking and slashing until the soldiers were utterly terrified and fled back to the Heavenly Court. Without the assistance of cultivators from the Chan and Tian sects, and with the Heavenly Court's troops retreating, coupled with the intimidation of the blood-soaked Wang Jian, the Qi army's morale plummeted. When they clashed with the Qin army, although the Qin army had previously suffered tens of thousands of casualties at the hands of the Heavenly Court's troops, the Qi army was routed by the Qin soldiers, who were filled with intense hatred. King Tian Xuan of Qi, left with no other option, was escorted back to the Qi capital by his personal guards.
With this victory, the Qi state's strength was waning. Of the three million Qi soldiers, only tens of thousands escaped. Under the guidance of Sun Tzu, who was transformed from a Taoist master, the Qin army pursued the enemy while they were ahead. With the assistance of disciples from the Confucian, Mohist, and Legalist schools, the Qi state had no chance left. The Qin army advanced directly to the capital of Qi. Tian Xuan committed suicide. The Qin army stormed into the capital of Qi, destroyed the royal family, and unified the Southern Continent without any further obstacles.
Penglai Island, inside the Dutian Palace.
After Liao Zhen and the others helped the Qin Kingdom unify the Southern Continent, they were summoned by Xuan Tian and rushed back.
The six disciples from Penglai Island stood in two rows, one row led by Huixin and Liaozhen, the formal disciples, and the other row led by Han Fei and Mozi.
Xuan Tian smiled and said, "Although you all knew their identities before, it's still good that you introduced yourselves first." He then looked at Han Fei and Mo Zi, who nodded in agreement.
Mozi stepped forward, and Xuantian pointed at him, saying, "This is Mozi. You all know his identity. His original Daoist name was Suyu. He was originally the essence of a piece of primordial jade stone from the beginning of creation. When I was wandering in the prehistoric world, I happened to find him with a spiritual consciousness. I took him with me and kept him by my side. After he took human form, I accepted him as my disciple. You should call him Master."
Huixin and the others quickly stepped forward and bowed to Mozi, saying, "Greetings, Senior Brother."
Mozi returned the greeting, saying, "My fellow disciples, there's no need for such formalities. We are all disciples of the same teacher, so there's no need for excessive politeness."
Xuan Tian then pointed to Han Fei, who stepped forward. Xuan Tian said, "This is Han Fei. His true form is a Qilin with the innate Geng metal element. After Pangu created the world, some of the hairs on his body did not transform into the primordial energy of heaven and earth. After hundreds of eons, they developed intelligence and transformed into the three divine beasts that first appeared: the dragon clan, the leader of fish-scaled creatures; the phoenix clan, the leader of birds; and the Qilin, the most revered among beasts. Han Fei was a member of the Qilin clan back then."
"Han Fei's original Daoist name was Jin Linzi, and his talent was extraordinary. He met his master during the internal strife of the three clans and was later taken in as a disciple. He was ranked below Su Yu, but ahead of you all. You should call him your second senior brother." Xuan Tian said slowly.
Huixin and the others stepped forward to greet them.
After the ceremony, Xuan Tian said, "I had no choice but to keep your two senior brothers in the background. With your two senior brothers' talents, it is a pity that they have been kept in the background."
Su Yu and Jin Linzi quickly stepped forward and bowed, saying, "Our teacher has been incredibly kind to us. Without your guidance, how could we be Mozi and Han Fei today? Our teacher has his reasons for doing this, and we will simply follow your instructions. How could we dare to complain or feel wronged?"
Huixin and the others nearby could only vaguely hear what was happening and had no idea what it was all about.
Xuan Tian shook his head and said, "Although you two don't say it like that, you must have some thoughts in your hearts." Seeing Su Yu and the other person hurriedly bow down, Xuan Tian stopped them and said, "It's not that I'm blaming you two, but I have something to say. You two should get up first."
The two men accepted the order and rose, but were somewhat worried.
Xuan Tian slowly said, "When I first took human form, I was arrogant and proud of my own origins. I didn't know the heroes of the world, nor could I distinguish right from wrong. Relying on my cultivation, I did some foolish things. Later, as time went by, other beings also took human form, including the three races. Only then did I realize how vast the world is. I thought that my cultivation at that time was nothing at all."
