Water Curtain Cave.
When you read this letter, I wonder if you'll still remember me, if it will have faded or become lighter?
"You know what? I've always liked you, but I never said it. When I finally wanted to say it, I realized that everything was so far away."
"You know, I've always wanted to have you, but when I finally had you, I realized that happiness was only fleeting."
"I'm unwilling to accept this, yet I feel so helpless; I have no regrets, even if having you was only for a fleeting moment."
I don't believe in an afterlife; I only want to stay together in this life until we grow old.
"Until we nestle against each other, watching the setting sun, listening to the gentle breeze whispering in our ears, day after day, forever."
"I'm so glad I could see you one last time, even if it was just a quiet glance at you."
"If you still remember me in ten years, come to the place where we last met, and I will appear."
"Oh no, someone has fainted!"
The girl silently finished reading the letter, her eyes filled with tears. Hearing the call, she ran over and laid him in her warm arms, whispering, "I will hold you, forever." Perhaps he truly heard her prayer, for he smiled in the darkness.
She smiled too.
Suddenly, a red light rose from the boy's body, and the red light quickly spread, coloring the entire sky.
The girl looked up, hugged him, and hugged that warm red color, tears falling with each step.
In a second, or perhaps a minute, the red of the whole world gradually gathers, converges into a single point, and shoots towards the distant horizon.
In an instant, or a hundred million years, perhaps earlier, perhaps longer, a glimmer of red light appeared in this unknown space. An ancient, unadorned mirror floated in the air, remaining suspended regardless of how the space changed. The only change was that, as this unknown space permeated the mirror, a faint figure gradually emerged on its surface. Whenever the spatial energy flowed through the ancient mirror, a portion was absorbed by that figure, thus making it increasingly solid.
Somewhere in this mysterious space, in a distant land billions of miles away, a crystal-clear jade disc floats quietly.
Elsewhere in this space, a colossal spirit tree stood proudly, surrounded by swirling purple mists. The trunk was obscured; only its massive canopy and a few scattered "fruits" adorned it. A lotus, a knife, a sword, and a cyan bead comprised the fruits. Bathed in the mysterious purple light, they appeared vibrant and alluring, like ripe peaches, radiating boundless brilliance and irresistible temptation.
Thus, this space contains only these three things: the ancient mirror, the jade disc, and the spirit tree. They are the witnesses to the existence of this space, and they are the ones who wrote about its prosperity.
Space itself is immutable by the passage of time, yet it is clear that this space too is nearing the end of its life. The ancient mirror remains, the jade disc remains, only the fruits on the spirit tree sway and tremble restlessly, as if proclaiming something to the world. With a deafening roar, the immense spirit tree shatters into pieces, also announcing the end of this space. As space disintegrates, the fruits on the tree fly in all directions with the collapse of space. Drifting aimlessly, these fruits radiate boundless energy, darting left and right through space, expressing their resentment. Suddenly, the ancient mirror emits a faint red light, and the jade disc emits a shimmering blue light. Finally, under the burst of unparalleled energy, they break free from the constraints of space and scatter in all directions into the distance.
When the space finally stabilized again, billions of years had passed, and the life forms that had proven the existence of the space had vanished without a trace.
"Ah!" A loud roar erupted, not because the sound was loud, but because the surroundings were too quiet, as quiet as death.
With a cry of "Ah!", our protagonist was born, or rather, gained sentience. A figure nine hundred and ninety-nine feet tall stood in the air, his left hand outstretched, above which a mirror spun irregularly. His robust physique seemed capable of soaring through the universe; his deep, unfathomable gaze seemed to laugh at all things.
Suddenly he closed his eyes and stood quietly, as if deep in thought. After a moment, he opened his eyes again and smiled softly; his hearty laughter echoed throughout the primordial space.
Why do you know? It turns out that he understood the past through the ancient mirror in his hand. The space he originally existed in was the Primordial Space, the most primordial state of the entire universe, which gave birth to the three great Primordial Treasures: the Primordial Spirit Tree, the Primordial Jade Disc, and the Primordial Spirit Mirror.
The Primordial Spirit Tree is a supreme treasure of the Primordial Realm. The Primordial Realm nurtured the Primordial Spirit Tree, and the Primordial Spirit Tree maintained the stability of the Primordial Realm. It is a sacred object that suppresses the Primordial Realm.
The Primordial Jade Disc is a Primordial Spiritual Treasure. It records the most primordial laws of creation in the Primordial World. It contains 9,999 orthodox and unorthodox methods. One of them could make an ordinary person a god or a saint. However, it was damaged in the Primordial World and was reduced to a Chaos Sacred Artifact. The methods within it were also incomplete due to the destruction caused by the annihilation of space.
The Primordial Spirit Mirror is a Primordial Spirit Treasure. It controls time and nurtures the origin of the laws of time, the Heart of Time.
One of the "fruits" nurtured by the Primordial Spirit Tree is the Limitless Sacred Lotus, which contains the Primordial Limitless Technique, encompassing the Law of Light, the Law of Speed, and many other laws, making it an unparalleled cultivation method.
Secondly, the blade is named Hongmie, which can break through the primordial space, slaughter gods and destroy saints, and kill without incurring karmic consequences. It contains many laws such as slaughter, darkness, and destruction. Thirdly, the sword is named Tianhuan, which can be ever-changing. When attacking, it can break through the primordial space, and when defending, it is as solid as a rock. It contains the law of nothingness.
Finally, there is the Primordial Pearl, which gives birth to the chaotic space.
The Four Treasures were first decomposed when the Primordial Chaos Space collapsed. The Limitless Sacred Lotus was divided into the Chaos Spiritual Root, the Thirty-Six Grade Chaos Purple Lotus and the Sacred Lotus Remnant Leaf were divided into the Divine Punishment Blade (Law of Thunder), the Heavenly Dao and its fragment Tianhuan were divided into Thousand Illusions (Sword, Law of Killing) and its fragment Hongmeng Pearl. Due to the lack of Primordial Chaos Qi, the Sacred Lotus Remnant Leaf, Hongmie Fragment, Tianhuan Fragment and Hongmeng Pearl of the Chaos Space became the mother of the entire Chaos Space and other spiritual treasures.
The Great Sage Equaling Heaven gazed upon the ruined primordial space, a strange tremor stirring within him. He didn't know where he came from, nor why he had been conceived within the primordial chaos; his mind was a blank. In his bewilderment, he sat cross-legged and began his second slumber in this decaying space. But how long would this slumber last?
