The lightning exploded upon entering the chaos, instantly splitting it open. Countless streams of earth, water, wind, and fire surged forth, yet Xuan Tian made no further move, and the chaos naturally recombine. Xuan Tian seemed lost in thought, standing for a long time before finally taking out the Boundless Merit Measuring Ruler and cleaving it directly into the chaos. The chaos was like water being cleaved by a knife; with each foot of Xuan Tian's strike, countless streams of earth, water, wind, and fire surged forth, spreading outwards, only to be blocked by magical artifacts at the various sages' dojos. His feet touched the ground, his hands supporting the sky, splitting the heavens and earth apart. Only after the world stabilized did Xuan Tian withdraw his divine form, pointing a finger at the earth, and instantly mountains, rivers, flowers, birds, fish, and insects appeared.
This was because Xuan Tian was thinking of Pangu's creation of the world. Suddenly, Chang'e sensed that Hou Yi's presence had vanished from the Three Realms. She assumed he was dead, and a chill ran through her, as if ice had filled her heart. Thinking of the beautiful times she had spent with Hou Yi (this is absolutely not an advertisement), Chang'e burst into tears. Suddenly, her gaze hardened, and she thought: "Hou Yi is dead. What's the point of me staying in this world? I might as well die." At this moment, she regained control of her magic and prepared to self-destruct.
Suddenly, a figure appeared—it was Xuan Tian. Xuan Tian waved his hand to freeze Chang'e, saying, "You self-destructed in my Xuan Tian Palace, aren't you afraid of damaging my things?"
Just as Chang'e was about to self-destruct, a person suddenly appeared in front of her and froze her magic with a wave of his hand. She was terrified. When she heard Xuan Tian say that the palace belonged to him, she assumed that Xuan Tian was the one who had given her the elixir and plotted against her. She was furious.
"You shameless wretch, you did such despicable things, plotting against me and Hou Yi. Hou Yi is dead, and I'm going to commit suicide. Are you still not satisfied? What do you want?"
Upon hearing this, Xuan Tian immediately understood that Chang'e had mistaken him for Hou Yi, whom he had plotted against. He laughed and said, "Do you know who I am? Why would I plot against you?"
Chang'e paused for a moment when asked the question, then said, "If you hadn't schemed against me, why would I have come straight to this Xuantian Palace?"
Xuan Tian was annoyed by what he was being said. He couldn't very well say that it was all the Heavenly Dao's doing. So he said to Chang'e, "I foresaw that you and I had a master-disciple relationship. Besides, the elixir you ate was neither given to me nor refined by me. How could it be that I schemed against you?"
Upon hearing this, Chang'e realized it made sense. The man had clearly stated that the elixir was refined by Laozi. Although she was just a mortal, she knew who Laozi was. There was no way this man could be Laozi. Knowing that she might have really wronged an innocent person, she blushed and said, "Please don't be angry, Master. I was tricked and in my haste, I wronged you. I hope you will forgive me."
“It’s alright. I came here because I foresaw that you and I have a master-disciple relationship, so I came here to take you as my disciple,” Xuan Tian said.
