Xihe remarried

"You!! Fine, I'll do as you say." Xihe knew that if she really fought Taiyi, at most she could only seriously injure him, but by then, none of the ten Golden Crows would survive. Thinking of Dijun, she had no choice but to agree to Taiyi's request. Xihe forced a smile and sat down next to Taiyi, but her heart was breaking.

On their wedding night, Taiyi got drunk, but he was overjoyed. He had never been so happy since Xihe married Dijun; he had finally won Xihe's heart. Fueled by alcohol, and with Xihe's expressionless face, Taiyi consummated his virginity.

After Taiyi married Xihe, the Ten Golden Crows frequently came to the Emperor and Empress's palace to make a scene and no longer respected Taiyi. Every time the Ten Golden Crows came to the Emperor and Empress's palace to question Xihe, Xihe's heart felt like it was broken. However, she could not tell them the reason, so she could only ignore their words and secretly shed tears of sorrow.

After several such incidents, Xihe, citing the Ten Golden Crows' frequent disturbances in the harem, begged Taiyi to send them out of the Heavenly Court. Taiyi was pleased to see Xihe so humbly saving him. In addition, the Ten Golden Crows did indeed frequently cause trouble in the Heavenly Court and sometimes made sarcastic remarks towards him, which angered him greatly. However, since they were the sons of Dijun, he could not kill them. Xihe's request was exactly what he wanted, so he sent someone to send the Ten Golden Crows out and put them under house arrest.

Xihe was also thinking about the safety of the ten golden crows, fearing that they might anger Taiyi and cause trouble. However, she did not expect that this trip would lead to irreversible consequences.

In the far east of the ocean lies an island called Yaodi, shaped like a valley called Tanggu. The water in Tanggu is warm year-round. In the center of Tanggu grows a Fusang tree, whose leaves resemble shepherd's purse. The tree is three hundred zhang tall, with an enormous canopy that shades the entire Yaodi island.

This is the place where Taiyi imprisoned the Ten Golden Crows. Taiyi also set up restrictions around the island, which the Ten Golden Crows could not break and could not leave the island. Fortunately, the Fusang tree was a natural fire-type spiritual root, which was very compatible with the solar true fire cultivated by the Golden Crows. The Ten Golden Crows lived on it peacefully.

But can things really turn out as they wish? Eight or nine out of ten things in this world don't go as planned; they are unpredictable and ever-changing. Who can say for sure?

The Three Pure Ones and the Two Sages of the West established their religions, naturally considering the interests of the great religion. Now that the Witch and Demon races jointly control the world, how can they divide up the fortune of the world? Naturally, they are unwilling to accept this and are waiting to plot a war between the Witch and Demon races so that they can reap the benefits.

After the Wu tribe lost its ancestral witch Houtu, the Houtu tribe was placed under the management of Houyi, a former subordinate of Houtu. Houyi was highly skilled, truly second only to the ancestral witch of the Wu tribe. He was usually taciturn and only befriended Kuafu, the great witch of the Jumang tribe within the same clan. Seeing that he was quite capable, the ancestral witch put him in charge of the Houtu tribe.

One day, in the Western Paradise, Amitabha Buddha and Cundi Bodhisattva were preaching to their disciples in front of the Eight Treasures Merit Pool, expounding the Great Dharma of the Western Paradise. The disciples listened with rapt attention, completely absorbed, when suddenly Amitabha Buddha and Cundi Bodhisattva stopped preaching and said to the disciples below, "That's all for today. You should all go down and contemplate it carefully." The disciples bowed and left in turn, and that was the end of the story.

After the disciples left, Zhunti coldly addressed the guide, saying, "Hmph! The Dongfangs have quite the scheme."

Jieyin looked distressed and sighed, saying to Zhui Ti, "This is something we cannot do. Our Western religion is poor and cannot compare with the East. If we do not respond, when will our Western religion be able to flourish?"

Zhunti understood what Jieyin meant, and nodded helplessly, saying, "I also understand this principle, but I am just unwilling to accept it."

Jieyin said to Zhunti, "I'll have to trouble you with this matter, Junior Brother."

Zhunti said, "It's alright, it should be so." After saying that, he disappeared.

However, the Lich Kings had seized control of the world, and several sages harbored ulterior motives. The Easterners were not afraid, after all, they were in the prosperous land of the East, while the Western religion was impoverished. If the Lich Kings continued to dominate the prehistoric world, it was unknown when the Western religion would be able to spread its teachings to the East and flourish. Helpless, Zhunti had no choice but to come to the East to discuss with the Three Pure Ones and plot against the Lich Kings together.

When Zhunti arrived at Taichitian, Xuandu was already waiting outside. He said, "Greetings, Sage Zhunti. Your teacher is waiting in the Bajing Palace."

Zhunti nodded and went in with Xuandu. Once inside the hall, they saw Laozi sitting on a cloud bed. Zhunti went up and bowed, saying, "Zhunti greets Senior Brother." Since it was the Western Sect's suggestion, Zhunti had no choice but to speak to Laozi politely.

Laozi nodded and said, "Junior brother, please sit down." He then pointed to the side, and a cloud bed rose up.

After Zhunti was seated, Laozi finally spoke, "Junior Brother, what brings you here?" But Laozi was pretending to be ignorant when he knew the truth.

Zhunti knew that Laozi was trying to confuse him, but since he couldn't leave the matter unresolved, he could only say, "Senior Brother, Zhunti has come here for the sake of the Wu and Yao clans. The Wu and Yao clans are ignorant of the will of Heaven, do not worship Heaven and Earth, and do not respect the sages. They are not worthy to be the protagonists of Heaven and Earth. The human race has abundant fortune, is intelligent and quick-witted, and knows etiquette. They are worthy to be the protagonists of Heaven and Earth for countless eons. This is why I wanted to discuss this matter with you, Senior Brother."

When Laozi saw that Zhunti said this, he also said, "That is how it should be. Junior brother, you may act as you see fit. This is a meritorious deed." After saying this, he closed his eyes and his spirit wandered into the vast emptiness.

When Zhunti saw that Laozi had agreed, he left Taichitian and headed towards the primordial wilderness.

If the Western religion wanted to plot against the witches, it had to consult the Three Pure Ones. The Three Pure Ones were led by Laozi, which is why Zhunti wanted to see Laozi.

Twenty or forty crows illuminate the primordial wilderness, Kuafu chases the sun.

After the ten golden crows settled on Yaodi Island, they cultivated on the Fusang tree day and night. The golden crows were exceptionally talented and were among the most powerful primordial species in the world. Since the ten golden crows could not transform into human form until they reached the level of a Great Luo Golden Immortal, they could only appear in their true form.

These ten golden crows were young and found it quite boring to stay on the craggy island all day. The ten brothers often clamored to go out of the island to have fun, but their cultivation was not enough to break Taiyi's restriction, so they were helplessly trapped on the island.
