Tongtian greeted the group with a cheerful smile, but he didn't care about Yuanshi's indifferent attitude and didn't even offer a greeting, which made Yuanshi even angrier.

Suddenly, Yuanshi said, "Two fellow Daoists from the West will also be arriving soon; let's wait for them."
Sure enough, before he could finish speaking, they heard faint chanting and lotus flowers and bodhi seeds appeared. It was the arrival of the Guide Daoist and the Zhunti Daoist. Haotian and the others hurriedly stepped forward to pay their respects.
When Zhunti saw Tongtian's disciples, he felt a mixture of joy and resentment. He was delighted that they were such fine talents, but resentful that Tongtian had taken away all the promising demons when he was in Heaven last time. Without even greeting Tongtian, he smiled at Yuanshi Tianzun and said, "Tianzun, you seem to have a shorter route and got there first."
Although Yuanshi looked down on the Western Paradise sect led by Zhunti and Jieyin, he was pleased to see that Zhunti and Tongtian were not on the same page, and said, "My two fellow Daoists have come a long way and are a little late."
Zhunti laughed and said, "It's not late, it's not late. Our eldest brother hasn't arrived yet either, has he?"
No sooner had he finished speaking than a purple glow appeared on the horizon, and Laozi arrived riding an ox, accompanied by the Grand Master Xuandu. The crowd quickly stepped forward to pay their respects. Laozi smiled and said, "I've arrived a little late because I was refining elixirs; I've kept you all waiting."
Haotian laughed, "Senior Brother is certainly enjoying some peace and quiet."
Just then, a golden light appeared on the horizon, and auspicious clouds rose up. When everyone looked up, they saw that it was the Xuan Tian Saint from Penglai Island who had arrived. Xuan Tian was riding a golden dragon, which was Ao Qin, the younger brother of Ao Shun, the Dragon King of the East Sea. In order to get on Xuan Tian's good side, the dragon clan sent their younger brother as Xuan Tian's mount since Xuan Tian had no mount.
Accompanying Xuan Tian were three disciples: Huixin, Liaozhen, and Cangjie. Haotian quickly stepped forward to greet Xuan Tian, saying, "Senior Brother, you're a little late."
Nuwa also laughed and said, "Senior brother lives in the East Sea, which must be quite a long way."

Seeing that everyone had arrived, Haotian raised his cup and addressed the crowd, saying, "This year marks the birthday of Yaochi, and the peaches of immortality are ripe. Therefore, I have specially invited the great supernatural beings of the primordial world to come. I would like to offer you all a toast." After saying this, he raised his cup and drank the wine. Afterward, he noticed that none of the saints opposite him had moved, and he thought to himself that this was strange.
Several sages were furious. What did Haotian mean by this? When he invited them, he did not mention Yaochi's birthday, but only said it was a banquet. The sages did not pay attention to it. But when they arrived, Haotian said it was Yaochi's birthday. How could they not be angry?
It turns out that the sages were invited by the Heavenly Court. Apart from the first visit when the palace was first built, they hadn't had any business there. This time, they came only because Haotian and Yaochi had served Hongjun in Zixiao Palace for many years. However, it turned out to be Yaochi's birthday. These sages are all concerned with their reputation. They are immortal beings and are the top beings among all living beings in the primordial world. In their eyes, Haotian and Yaochi are nothing more than ants. Yet, you asked them to come and wish you a happy birthday. What does this mean?
However, Haotian also had his own ulterior motives. He originally wanted several sages to come, which would undoubtedly establish their prestige in front of the other great supernatural beings in the prehistoric world. When inviting the sages, he was afraid that they would not come. Therefore, when Haotian sent someone to invite the sages, he did not mention that it was Yaochi's birthday. However, I have important matters to attend to in my palace, so I will not disturb you any longer." After saying this, he left Yaochi directly. The disciples of the Chan Sect also resented Haotian for being so ignorant, and they all stood up and followed Yuanshi.
Laozi, Tongtian, and the others apologized and left. Xuantian stood up, intending to leave as well, but after thinking for a moment, he took out a hairpin and said to Yaochi, "It's my junior sister's birthday. I don't have anything good to give you, so I'll give you this."
Yaochi was at a loss as to whether to accept the offer or not. She had no idea what was going on, but seeing that the saints had left without even taking a sip of wine, she knew something was wrong and turned to look at Haotian.
Haotian smiled wryly and said, "Take it." Seeing Yaochi accept it, he turned to Xuantian and said, "I was wrong in this matter, please forgive me, Senior Brother."
