After finishing his sermon, Hongjun looked at the crowd below and said: "I obtained the Jade Tablet of Creation to prove the Dao and to teach all living beings. This is my last sermon, and the sermon is now complete. The Great Dao is fifty, and the Heavenly Evolution is forty-nine, therefore it is incomplete. I will merge with the Heavenly Dao to complete it. From now on, I am the Heavenly Dao, and the Heavenly Dao is me."
These words shocked everyone below, except for Xuantian. Hongjun was going to merge with the Dao? What would happen to us then? Especially the Three Pure Ones, who didn't even know how to become saints. Seeing that Hongjun was about to merge with the Dao, what would happen to them? Therefore, led by Laozi, the Three Pure Ones bowed three times to Hongjun and said: "Teacher is compassionate, willing to merge with the Dao for the sake of all living beings. We disciples admire your virtue and hope to teach all living beings like you. However, we are too weak to become saints. We beg you to bestow upon us the Dharma."

"Very well, today I shall accept seven disciples here. The Three Pure Ones are transformed from the primordial spirit of Pangu, and have left behind great merits in creating the world. They shall be my formal disciples and can become saints. Nuwa has great opportunities and can also become a saint. She shall be my formal disciple and be ranked below the Three Pure Ones. Jieyin and Zhunti are also people with great fortune and can become saints. Their affinity with me is shallow, so they shall only be my nominal disciples." Immediately, the six people were overjoyed.
