Afterwards, Emperor Jun hosted a banquet for everyone. Seeing the establishment of the Heavenly Court, the great gods knew that Emperor Jun would now be the most powerful, and they would likely have to defer to him in the future. They all presented valuable gifts to celebrate the founding of the Heavenly Court. Among the Three Pure Ones, Laozi presented a gourd of golden pills, and Yuanshi Tianzun presented a portion of the Three Lights Divine Water. This Three Lights Divine Water was a rare treasure, difficult even for sages to obtain, demonstrating the significant investment Yuanshi Tianzun made. Seeing Yuanshi Tianzun's generous gift, Tongtian, wanting to compete with him, presented a sword he had collected in the primordial world. It was a primordial artifact named Demon Slayer, naturally possessing a deterrent effect on demons. The two demon emperors were thrilled, and Yuanshi Tianzun was also astonished by Tongtian's gesture, then coldly snorted. Tongtian, seeing everyone's amazement, felt very honored. Nuwa and Fuxi, originally demons, lacked many treasures, so they presented some rare and precious materials collected in the primordial world. Fuxi even offered to serve in the Heavenly Court, much to the delight of the two emperors. Seeing that everyone had presented such valuable gifts, the two Western deities marveled at the abundance of the East, their envy growing ever stronger. Zhunti, in particular, resolved to frequently visit the East to plunder its treasures. The West, being impoverished, couldn't offer much. Finally, Jieyin gritted his teeth and presented the two emperors with lotus seeds cultivated from his own magical treasure, the 12th-grade Golden Lotus. These seeds were innate, capable of growing into 6th-grade Golden Lotuses, but requiring a share of the mother's fortune. Jieyin felt a deep sense of regret. The two emperors, aware of the West's situation, were also amazed by the generosity of the two. Other powerful deities also presented their treasures; for example, Zhen Yuanzi gifted several ginseng fruits. The other deities, seeing these fruits for the first time, all marveled at Zhen Yuanzi's good fortune. And so on and so forth.
As for Xuan Tian, he had been invited by Di Jun to establish the Heavenly Court, so why hadn't he arrived yet?
Twelve Taiyin obtain treasure
Now, Xuan Tian, after listening to the Dao twice in Zi Xiao Palace, discovered that the 12th-grade Azure Lotus was showing signs of further growth. He then took the Azure Lotus to the Chaos beyond the Thirty-Three Heavens, intending for it to absorb chaotic energy for its growth. Two hundred years passed, coinciding with the establishment of the Heavenly Court. Since the establishment of the Heavenly Court was in accordance with the Dao, and it was Xuan Tian who proposed it, the Dao naturally bestowed some merit upon him. For the past two hundred years, besides absorbing spiritual energy to support the Azure Lotus's growth, he had also been constantly cultivating. Just as the heavenly merit arrived, it awakened him, revealing the establishment of the Heavenly Court. He had to go at the invitation of Di Jun, only to find that the Azure Lotus had stopped growing. The addition of two rank items, though excessive, still thrilled him. The Azure Lotus's uses had increased considerably. The Blood Lotus of the Styx River might be possible, but the Golden Lotus in Jieyin's hands and the Black Lotus in Hongjun's hands depended on future opportunities. After his excitement subsided, he put away the Azure Lotus and left the Chaos towards the Heavenly Court.
Upon arriving at the Heavenly Court and witnessing its prosperous scene, Xuan Tian was filled with admiration. Led by a maid, he entered the main hall and, seeing everyone present, first apologized profusely to the two emperors, saying, "I was invited by the Heavenly Emperor, but I was in seclusion for cultivation some time ago. I just emerged today and suddenly felt a sudden urge to calculate. It turns out that the two emperors, in accordance with the will of Heaven, established the Heavenly Court, uniting all the demon races under Heaven, performing immeasurable acts of merit, truly blessing all living beings. The two emperors are indeed men of great virtue. Therefore, I rushed here immediately, and also to collect gifts, hence my lateness. Please forgive me, Heavenly Emperor and Eastern Emperor." Xuan Tian's words were utterly flattering. The assembled deities, maintaining their dignity, looked down on Xuan Tian's words, as if he were merely currying favor with Di Jun and Tai Yi.
Xuan Tian disregarded the opinions of others and congratulated the two emperors. He then took out the Five Elements Treasures and other spiritual fruits and some top-quality materials that he had collected and presented them to the two emperors. Everyone was amazed by the amount of Xuan Tian's collection.
Seeing that Xuantian was so cooperative, Dijun was quite pleased and said, "Brother Xuantian, you don't need to take this to heart. The establishment of the Heavenly Court is also thanks to your merit. Without your guidance, I don't know when I would have been able to build such a vast Heavenly Court. In the future, I will need you to put in some effort to help me manage this Heavenly Court." With these words, everyone knew the relationship between Xuantian and the Heavenly Court, and they even thought that Xuantian was on Dijun's side. The great gods each had their own thoughts and were all plotting in their hearts, but they didn't mention it.
At this moment, another attendant from Hongjun's seat came and bestowed upon Hongjun's edict. Xuantian, seeing this attendant, knew he would become the future Jade Emperor Haotian, and thus wished to befriend him. He stepped forward and handed several Five Elements Fruits to Haotian, saying, "Junior Brother Haotian has served our teacher for many years. We listen to our teacher's teachings and should therefore perform the duties of disciples, serving him at his side. However, we must diligently cultivate to attain enlightenment and cannot serve our teacher at his side. Junior Brother, you have performed this service on our behalf, and I am deeply grateful. Senior Brother, you have some fruits that you picked from the primordial wilderness; they taste quite good. Junior Brother, you can take them back and share them with Yaochi." "Please also give my regards to her." Haotian was originally a pageboy under Hongjun, with unremarkable cultivation and low status. He had only come to deliver Hongjun's edict and would return afterward. He usually only guided people into Zixiao Palace. Therefore, although people respected him as Hongjun's pageboy, they looked down on him. He knew this, but seeing how kind Xuantian was to him, he was deeply grateful. Thinking that he would find an opportunity to repay this kind senior brother in the future, he and Yaochi often spoke well of Xuantian in front of Hongjun, which later brought Xuantian considerable benefits. After thanking Xuantian, he returned to Zixiao Palace.
Having witnessed the majesty of the Heavenly Court, the great gods each had their own plans. They bid farewell to the two emperors and departed. The Three Pure Ones originally wanted to find Xuantian, but seeing that the Heavenly Court was not the place to talk, they stepped forward to invite Xuantian to visit Kunlun Mountain later, and then they also left.
