Seeing that the sword was ineffective, the fairy made a sword incantation with one hand and unleashed a bolt of lightning with the other, attacking Randeng. Randeng's eyelids twitched, and he recognized it as the Heavenly Thunder. This lightning technique was more powerful than the Three Pure Ones' Divine Thunder. Even though the fairy's lightning was not as powerful as Pangu's or Xuantian's, it still could not make things easy for Randeng.
Dipankara pointed to the Yin-Yang Pearl above his head. The two pearls suddenly split open, revealing two worlds. Each pearl contained ten heavens, which were the twenty heavens that Dipankara had transformed into through the Dharma after he defected to Buddhism. Within the twenty heavens were three thousand Buddha kingdoms. In the Buddha kingdoms, countless Buddhist disciples manifested golden wheels of merit, put their hands together, and chanted sutras and recited Buddhist scriptures.
After evolving into two realms, the Yin-Yang Pearl ascended to the realm of the Acquired Treasure. Each realm contained three thousand Buddha kingdoms, and each Buddha kingdom contained three thousand Buddha disciples. Furthermore, because the Yin and Yang of the Yin-Yang Pearl intertwined and generated endless life, although it was inferior to the twenty-four heavens evolved from the twenty-four Sea-Stabilizing Pearls of the original Dipankara Buddha, it still deserved the title of "Boundless Buddhist Dharma" in later generations.
The chanting of countless Buddhist disciples converged into golden light, shining upon the Yin-Yang Pearl. The Heavenly Thunder unleashed by Fairy Zhihui also struck it, producing a loud bang. The Yin-Yang Pearl remained unshaken, demonstrating that the Heavenly Thunder had no effect.
No matter how wondrous the Heavenly Thunder is, it is not something that Fairy Zhihui can wield. The Heavenly Thunder is extremely powerful and is a divine power of Pangu. It requires a physical body formed from the essence of Pangu's blood to unleash its power. Although Fairy Zhihui was nurtured by Huixin with the essence of Pangu's blood bestowed by Xuantian, she cannot unleash the full power of the Heavenly Thunder. At most, she can only use the effect of the Three Pure Ones Thunder.
Within the Yin-Yang Twin Heavens, numerous Buddhist disciples chanted scriptures, using the power of their faith to resist the Heavenly Thunder. However, the thunder's power was insufficient to break through their defenses.
There's no rush. Huixin never thought that Randeng would be so easy to deal with. She just wanted to have the two incarnations of good and evil to hold Randeng back, so that she could take the time to rescue Zhen.
Randeng knew Huixin's plan, so how could he let Huixin have her wish? Randeng slapped his head, and a Taoist appeared, which was none other than the Taoist of Nirvana. The Taoist of Nirvana bowed to Randeng and then stepped forward to stop Huixin.
The Daoist of Nirvana was originally transformed from the coffin lamp of the Burning Lamp. He was originally called the Coffin Daoist. After the Burning Lamp betrayed Taoism and joined Buddhism, he was called the Daoist of Nirvana. The Daoist was skilled in using flames, especially the Fire of Nirvana. This fire was not an ordinary fire, nor a heavenly fire, nor a Samadhi True Fire, but a Fire of Nirvana that specifically burned the primordial spirit and true soul.
Huixin frowned, about to bypass the Daoist of Annihilation again, when the Daoist of Annihilation laughed loudly and released a several-foot-long bolt of Annihilation Fire towards Huixin. Knowing its power, Huixin had no choice but to dodge. Just as the Daoist of Annihilation was about to strike again, a woman in white shouted, "You wicked Daoist, watch my skills!" The woman waved her banana leaf fan at the flame, releasing boundless true water from the fan to block the fire.
The Daoist of Nirvana sneered, "How could your little Daoist possibly stop my Nirvana Fire?" Sure enough, the water could not extinguish the fire. This fire was different from other flames. Although the banana leaf fan in the woman's hand was wonderful, it was not compatible with this fire.
The woman in white was none other than the benevolent corpse that Huixin had slain, named the Fairy of Benevolent Water. The fairy sneered, "Let's see if I can stop it." With that, she raised her banana leaf fan and gently waved her hand. Water mist inexplicably condensed in the air. As it thickened into water, the fairy pointed at the Annihilation Fire, and the water surged forth like a dragon, instantly extinguishing the raging fire.
This Good Water Fairy was transformed by Huixin using the Xuan Yuan Water Control Flag bestowed by Xuan Tian. The Xuan Yuan Water Control Flag is one of the five flags of heaven and earth, belonging to the water element in the five elements. It contains the great law of water, and can transform any water-related object. Huixin was able to transform the Good Corpse by comprehending the essence of the Xuan Yuan Water Control Flag, which shows that Huixin had already understood the water element law within it. In addition, this Good Water Fairy can be considered the supreme being in the water. Although the Annihilation Fire is mysterious, it is still within the scope of fire. In the five elements, water overcomes fire. The Good Water Fairy did not recognize the abilities of the Annihilation Fire at first, but after a little thought, she was able to come up with a countermeasure, and thus was able to use magic to extinguish it.
The Daoist of Nirvana was greatly alarmed and unleashed his Nirvana Fire again, but it was still firmly countered by the Fairy of Good Water. Helplessly, the five elements counter each other, and the two were of equal cultivation. How could the Daoist of Nirvana be a match for the fairy? Seeing that the Daoist of Nirvana was being controlled by the Fairy of Good Water, and seeing that Huixin was about to step forward, Randeng quickly took out his purple-gold bowl and threw it at Huixin.
The Purple Gold Bowl was originally bestowed upon Randeng by Zhunti. Years ago, Randeng, lacking any powerful weapons, was defeated by the combined forces of Zhao Gongming and Yunxiao, causing him great distress. He resolved to find a superior magical treasure, but by then, the world had long since been created, and most treasures already had owners—they were not so easy to find. Randeng searched the primordial world for over half a year without success. Then, quite "coincidentally," he encountered Zhunti, who, seeing that he indeed had no usable treasure, bestowed the Purple Gold Bowl upon him. This Purple Gold Bowl is a post-natal spiritual treasure, capable of containing and trapping, emitting Buddhist light, and effective against all demons and monsters.
Huixin was furious and transformed the Zixiao Sword in her hand into a knife, slashing at the purple-gold bowl. Lightning crackled on the sword, and wisps of purple light were released. When the sword and bowl clashed, the purple-gold bowl was no match for the Zixiao Sword. With one strike, the purple-gold bowl was knocked away.
This brief moment gave Randeng time to react. Randeng had only intended to obstruct Huixin, and now he seized the opportunity to point at the Yin-Yang Pearls. The two pearls transformed into two Buddhas, one with a black face and the other with white hair. The two blocked the Fairy Zhihui, and Randeng took the opportunity to step forward and block Huixin.
Randeng called out, "Please stop, benefactor, and don't let anger get the better of you." As he spoke, his hands continued to move. With a flick of his left hand, he summoned the purple-gold bowl back, only to find that it had been chipped slightly. This pained Randeng. He had no good magic weapons, as he knew everything about the prehistoric world. His only treasure, the Linglong Pagoda, had been given to Li Jing. Randeng was helpless. Seeing the Zixiao Sword in Huixin's hand, Randeng felt even more jealous. Once greed took hold, how could he stop?
