Bad man
In July 1993, students holding books and reviewing diligently could be seen everywhere in Nan Province University. As the final exams were approaching, no matter how seriously they studied in normal times, during these few days at the end of the semester, everyone wanted to study hard and cram all the content of the entire semester into their brains in just a few days.
Chen Jin went to the library early in the morning to reserve a seat. He ate lunch and dinner in the third canteen which was closest to the library. He did not go back to the dormitory to rest and stayed in the library until he was kicked out by the administrator.
I was walking back to the dormitory under the dim street lights, carrying my schoolbag. When I passed dormitory 403, I heard people inside laughing and joking, and they mentioned Li Xingyi.
He paused, but continued forward and stopped at the door of dormitory 405.
"You're back. You're studying so late again." Qin Xuemei came over to open the door, and habitually raised her chin to look at people.
Chen Jin just responded, and as expected, he heard Qin Xuemei say in a sarcastic tone: "You leave early and come back late every day. Chen Jin, you are not afraid that I will borrow your notes to review, right?"
The dormitory building here is a new one, and they are the first batch of students to move in. It was built according to the specifications of a six-person dormitory, so it is considered spacious compared to the eight-person and ten-person dormitories in the old dormitory buildings.
The six people in 405 are all students of the Chinese Department, and they are in the same class. Students in the same class living together can keep in close contact with each other and build closer relationships. But it would be really uncomfortable if people with incompatible personalities got together.
Qin Xuemei is the most troublesome person in the dormitory. She can only talk nicely to Yang Qian, who comes from a wealthy family. When talking to other people, she always has a sarcastic look and looks particularly annoying.
Yang Qian seldom goes back to the dormitory. Her family bought her an apartment near the school, so she doesn't want to squeeze in with everyone in the dormitory. Among the remaining four people, Chen Lu and Chen Jin are competitors in their studies, with similar rankings, and both want to compete for the special scholarship. Whether in class or in the dormitory, Liang Xiaoyu is a taciturn and unremarkable invisible person. There is also a careless and foolish Meng Shengnan.
After three years of college, Chen Jin has not been able to become friends with anyone in the dormitory, but he has a good relationship with Lin Xinran who lives in dormitory 404.
The other people in the dormitory knew Qin Xuemei's personality too well. It would be fine if they didn't say anything, but if they said a word, she would have ten replies waiting for them. You can't scold her enough, and you can't hit her either. The best solution is to ignore her.
But Chen Jin never spoiled her.
He replied immediately, "It's a waste to lend it to you. You'll either have to retake the exam or retake the course anyway." These words were really heartbreaking. Qin Xuemei failed several courses. If she couldn't get the credits before graduation, she would definitely have to delay her graduation.
"Ah! Are you cursing me?"
"You are at a level where you still need people to curse you? Even if I burn incense and pray to Buddha, the Buddha will say that I am wasting my time."
Chen Jin simply ignored her angry face, put away his schoolbag, packed his things, and went to the shower room at the end of the dormitory corridor to take a shower.
After coming back from shower, there was a new visitor in the dormitory, it was Qin Xuemei's fellow villager Song Jiajia. However, Song Jiajia was from the Department of Physics. Because there were few female students in the department and not enough space for one dormitory, she was assigned to a dormitory with vacant beds for other majors. Song Jiajia was assigned to room 403, the same dormitory as the girls from the Chinese Department.
Since she and Li Xingyi were classmates and Qin Xuemei were from the same hometown, Chen Jin was familiar with her.
These two people had nothing nice to say when they got together. She guessed that they must be talking about the bad things that happened between her and Li Xingyi.
Sure enough, when Song Jiajia saw her, she asked knowingly, "Chen Jin, Li Xingyi's good brother said he was getting engaged. Is that true? You were in love for three years. Although you broke up, you are still friends. You should know that, right?"
The rustling sounds in the dormitory suddenly disappeared, and the roommates lying on the beds remained silent tacitly.
Chen Jin stuffed the wash basin under the bed, turned around and stared at Song Jiajia. Seeing that she was too guilty to look at him, he sneered, "You are Li Xingyi's dog. You still come here to bark after breaking up."
"You!" Song Jiajia blushed with anger, and her outstretched finger was slapped down by Chen Jin. "My breakup with Li Xingyi is his and my business, it's not your turn to bark. The love letter you wrote to Li Xingyi in the first semester of sophomore year is still with me. You're not angry and embarrassed because you didn't chase Li Xingyi, are you looking for trouble with me? If Li Xingyi invites me to his engagement, it's just right that I can give the love letter you wrote to his fiancée on the way. Oh, you're crying already? Tsk tsk~"
"What are you talking about?! I didn't write any love letter!" Song Jiajia screamed.
"Hey, your voice is so bad." Chen Jin shrugged, "You know what you wrote, how about I take it out and send it to your class so that your classmates can compare the handwriting?"
Qin Xuemei pulled the angry Song Jiajia and said to Chen Jin in dissatisfaction: "Chen Jin, you are too aggressive. It's just a love letter. What's the big deal? Anyway, I didn't really snatch it from you."
"You know that someone has a partner but you still write love letters. Only people like you think it's no big deal." Chen Jin curled his lips in disdain and dropped another bombshell, "No wonder you went to Yang Qian's boyfriend several times to show your affection. He didn't want to pay attention to you, but you still used Yang Qian as an excuse to stick to him."
"Ah! Chen Jin, you are spreading rumors!" Qin Xuemei subconsciously glanced at Yang Qian's bed.
Chen Jin smiled and shook his head. His expression was as irritating as it could be. "You said it was a rumor. Anyway, last Wednesday I used the excuse of borrowing materials for Yang Qian's review. Hehe, you guys chat slowly. I'm going to bed."
Qin Xuemei and Song Jiajia were so angry that they breathed rapidly. They watched Chen Jin climb onto the upper bunk and pull the curtains, directly blocking their view. They were angry, but they couldn't argue with Chen Jin, and Chen Jin's despicable look was really irritating.
After the two of them went out, the dormitory door was slammed shut, and there were rustling sounds in the dormitory again.
The other three roommates who remained silent were thinking: What the hell! Oh shit!
After a long while, Meng Shengnan poked her head out and looked up at the upper bunk. "Um, Chen Jin, did Song Jiajia really write a love letter to your girlfriend, no, your ex-girlfriend? And Qin Xuemei, is she trying to steal Yang Qian's boyfriend?"
The other two looked towards Chen Jin's bed at the same time.
"I was just guessing, but now I find it's true."
Everyone was silent again: "......"
Chen Jin is quite capable in making people angry.
But Chen Jin still felt a little frustrated.
She and Li Xingyi were both from Rong City, the provincial capital, and became classmates after entering the No. 3 High School in the city. It’s just that Li Xing’s family is from the city, while her family lives in a rural area in the suburbs. They started dating after they graduated from the college entrance examination, and they dated for a total of three years until May of this year. Although they were in the same school, they were not in the same college, and they were not often together. Moreover, most of the students in his science and engineering majors were boys, so he was not close to his classmates.
She didn't know when it started, but she and Li Xingyi met less and less, but they both focused on studying, so she didn't think much about it. But in May, when she and Lin Xinran went to the city to watch a movie, they happened to meet Li Xingyi and the beauty from their physics department hugging each other. The two were very close.
She was a little impulsive at the time and went straight to confront Li Xingyi, but in return, Li Xingyi accused her of not being ambitious.
Chen Jin had to put the blame on others when she did something wrong. She felt that there was no need to continue her studies and decided to give up postgraduate studies. Li Xingyi wanted to continue her studies himself and tried to persuade her, but to no avail. I didn't expect that he would use this as an excuse to cheat on me.
Thinking that this incident had allowed her to see Li Xingyi more clearly, Chen Jin slapped him a few times and told him to break up. As a result, the girl that Li Xingyi was dating now came back to her and said that she was clinging to Li Xingyi because she wanted to climb up the social ladder because Li Xingyi's family ran a company.
If it was said in private, Chen Jin wouldn't be that angry, but the woman had to go to her class and block the break time to say it in front of her classmates. At that time, Chen Jin told his classmates the story of "the two-timing idiot man and the two-timing idiot woman who knew she was a third party".
It's good for these two crazy husband and wife to be together, but she is having some troubles now because of these two idiots.

After three days of exams, I finally finished them. I can finally put an end to my four years of college study.
After Lin Xinran finished the exam, she walked to the dormitory with her, "I'm going to my aunt's house to attend a wedding this afternoon, so I can't go back with you."
"It's okay, I'll go back by myself." Lin Xinran's family used to live in the suburbs, so they could go a long way together. But at the beginning of her sophomore year, Lin Xinran's family business started to pick up, so they moved to the city, and they only had a short section of the road to share.
"Have you really decided to give up your qualification for postgraduate study?"
There are four places for guaranteed admission to graduate school in their major, and based on the ranking of grades, Chen Jin will definitely be on the list. But she only told her family, Lin Xinran and Li Xingyi that she did not plan to continue her postgraduate studies. If she gave up on continuing her studies in graduate school, Lin Xinran would be her replacement.
Chen Jin nodded affirmatively and said seriously: "I don't plan to continue studying. But I want to stay in school and be a counselor."
Lin Xinran felt a little embarrassed. She wanted to continue her graduate studies and thought that if Chen Jin was sure not to pursue graduate studies, she would be able to get a place in graduate school, which was always much easier than taking the entrance exam.
"You have good grades, so it should be easy for you to apply to stay on campus as a counselor. Didn't Professor Song also say that interested students can consider staying on campus as counselors?"
Chen Jin sighed, "Li Xingyi's current girlfriend's cousin is the vice president of the college." This was what Li Xingyi said when he accidentally ran into him at school after their breakup.
This despicable man, not only cheated on her, but he might also delay her future employment at the school. The slaps he gave her were really too light.
"So are you looking for an internship during the summer? You can go to my dad's company, but mine is a small company."
"I probably won't have time for an internship during the summer vacation." Chen Jin explained, "Last year, my uncle persuaded my mother to build a third floor, and our house is still empty and undecorated. And the fruit trees in the field, I have to go back and clean them up."
Talking about these things, her head hurts.
Her home is in Qiaodong Village, which is located in the suburbs of Nancheng District, Rong City. There is Qiaoxi Village between the village and the suburbs. There are factories near Qiaoxi Village, so every household there builds high-rise buildings to rent out. Of course, the high-rise buildings in Qiaoxi Village are not built entirely for rent, but there have always been rumors that Qiaoxi Village will be demolished. Since we are going to demolish the house, we have to rebuild it as hard as possible, right? !
Qiaodong Village, where Chen Jin's family lives, also rents out houses, but because it is farther away, the rent is one-third lower than that of Qiaoxi Village, or even half lower.
Her father's hometown is Qiaoxi Village, but he and her mother moved to the city after their divorce twenty years ago. After her mother divorced, she took her back to her parents' home in Qiaodong Village.
The family started building houses in 1987, and by the beginning of 1992, they had built two three-story buildings. In March of last year, her uncle, who ran a construction company, kept urging her mother to build higher buildings. At that time, her mother thought that they could rent out the houses, so she added three floors to both buildings.
It turned out that her family was doing well. Her mother collected rent at home, built a house in the front yard to run a small store, and planted ten acres of fruit trees in the land which she hired people to take care of. All the miscellaneous income added up, her family had an annual income of 50,000 to 60,000 yuan. Although building the house took up most of my savings from the past few years, it is all earned.
Unfortunately, her mother passed away suddenly due to illness at the end of last year. Now, she is the only one left at home.
Before the start of this semester, she wanted to contract out her family's orchard, but her uncle stopped her and even asked her to find someone to plant peach trees in the vacant land at home. He also did not allow her to rent out the family store, but asked her to hire someone to help run the store.
So that's why she is so busy this semester. It's all because of the trouble her uncle caused her.
Lin Xinran couldn't help but feel sympathy for her: How could there be such an uncle? !
