Suddenly, Xie reached out and placed his hand on Xiu's shoulder.
Xiu suddenly snapped out of his daze, said nothing, and turned to walk outside. Xie raised an eyebrow, asked no further questions, and followed him back into the Imperial Preceptor's residence.
The place is now covered in dust, its former glory gone, leaving only a mess.
Xiu stopped in front of the courtyard, glanced at Xie, then looked away, focusing on the stone table inside the courtyard. "Do you remember that place?"
