The next day.
As dawn broke, the side hall was still pitch black, clearly indicating that the couple on the bed were still fast asleep.
Ming Beiya felt a slight movement from the little person in his arms, and suddenly opened his eyes to see Mo Shisheng moving his body slightly.
Perhaps it was the way she hugged Mo Shisheng before going to sleep last night, their bodies pressed too close together, that made her feel pressured even in her sleep.
Ming Beiya released one arm, picked up the blanket that Mo Shisheng had slipped off, and tucked the edges of the blanket in to make sure Mo Shisheng was tightly wrapped up.
Looking at Mo Shisheng, who was resting her head on his arm, the tenderness in his eyes was evident.
Ming Beiya slowly lowered his head and affectionately touched the tip of Mo Shisheng's nose with the tip of his own.
Their body heat was transmitted to each other through the thin fabric of their clothes. Feeling Mo Shisheng's real presence, Ming Beiya's lips curled up slightly, and he couldn't hide the satisfaction in his heart.
Last night, due to Ming Beiya, Mo Shisheng fell into a deep sleep, unaware that he was sinking into a void of dreams.

In her dream, Mo Shisheng opened her eyes and looked around to find herself lying on the ground. It was pitch black all around her, with no sound, no color, no time, and nothing at all.
Mo Shisheng lowered her eyes and saw that her body was slightly transparent. She felt real while lying on the ground, and she decisively got up, wanting to leave this void.
Mo Shisheng walked along the vortex in front of him, and after walking for several hours, he found that there seemed to be no end to it. Everywhere he went was pitch black, and he frowned, finding it all very strange.
As he walked further and further, the pain in Mo Shisheng's temples intensified. He caught a glimpse of a light in the distance, flickering on and off.
Without thinking, I continued walking, wanting to get closer to that light and find out what it was.
In this void, Mo Shisheng walked for an unknown distance and time until the muscle cells in her legs stored the memory of walking and finally approached that ray of light.
It turned out that the bright light was a fragment suspended in the air. Mo Shisheng pondered for a moment, then reached out to touch it, when a voice came.
"Are you ready? Once you touch it, it will be accompanied by pain in the future."
Upon hearing this, Mo Shisheng raised an eyebrow slightly, "When have I, Mo Shisheng, ever been afraid?"
Reaching out to touch the light, the shards tore open a small gash at the fingertips and then burrowed into Mo Shisheng's body, causing intense mental anguish to engulf her.
Mo Shisheng curled up and slowly knelt down on the ground, cold sweat evaporating from his body as he fell into a coma.

Seeing that Mo Shisheng's brows were furrowed, Ming Beiya raised his finger and gently touched the space between Mo Shisheng's brows, trying to smooth them out.
Unexpectedly, Mo Shisheng's eyes suddenly opened, and Ming Beiya awkwardly stopped what he was doing, like someone caught doing something wrong.
What are you doing?
"Ahem, I...I'll touch you."
Ming Beiya subtly moved his hand, gently stroking Mo Shisheng's face, and then pressed his own face close to Mo Shisheng's cheek.
"What's wrong with you so early in the morning?" Mo Shisheng's lips twitched, and she slapped Ming Beiya's handsome face.
Ming Beiya seemed oblivious to the pain, his smile growing even more wicked. "My little Sheng Sheng, how could you bear to hit me?"
"Get out of the way."
"No, I won't get up unless you kiss me."
"roll!"
Mo Shisheng broke free from Ming Beiya's clutches, lifted the blanket, and turned her back to Ming Beiya to pack her clothes.
Ming Beiya lay on his side, propping his head up with his hand, looking at Mo Shisheng's back with doting eyes. He didn't notice that when Mo Shisheng got up, the coldness in his eyes had disappeared, and he felt more at ease.
