"No, no, I've found my master." Xiu quickly stopped joking and reached out to try to stop the two of them.
"Really? Really?" Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao turned around, their eyes wide with shock, and asked in trembling voices.
"Um."
Having received the answer they had always longed for, Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao's eyes reddened the next second, and tears slid down their cheeks. Even though they had always believed that Mo Shisheng would come back, they never expected it to actually happen; they had finally waited for this day.
"Where is Miss! Take us to see her, right now!" Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao grabbed Xiu's sleeve, unable to hide their excitement.
Xiu pressed down hard on their shoulders, trying to calm them down. "Don't get agitated. Our master's condition has changed. She has lost her memories and is still a baby."
"How could this happen? How can I rest easy!" Jiang Yao covered her mouth, unable to believe it.
"When can I see Miss?" Jiang Ge asked, sobbing.
"Of course not now. If you leave, who will manage the divine realm for the master? We will meet when the time is right. Don't worry, the master still has His Highness and Xie by his side." Xiu patted Jiang Yao's head and spoke softly.
"Okay. We'll take care of things here for you, Miss, and wait for your return."
"Crying is ugly." Xiu teased Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao in front of him with a gentle expression.
"Hmph! I don't want to talk to you, Jiang Ge, let's go!" Jiang Yao wiped away her tears, took Jiang Ge's hand, and ran away.
"..." Xiu chuckled as he watched Jiang Yao flee in disarray, his heart softening.
