Mo Shisheng smiled but remained silent in response to Qingluan's answer. Since it would take most of the journey to reach the capital, Mo Shisheng and Qingluan leaned against the carriage and closed their eyes to rest.
The carriage first placed Qingluan in a bustling market, then continued its journey towards the Shangguan residence.
Outside the gate of the Shangguan Mansion, before the carriage had even come to a complete stop, Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao immediately came forward.
"Whoa—"
Seeing this, the driver immediately tightened the reins and snorted irritably, "You're all in too much of a hurry! If something bad happens, it'll be my fault!"
Hearing this, Jiang Yao playfully stuck out her tongue, "Oh, don't be angry, we just missed you so much because we haven't seen you in so long."
"Alright, alright, be careful next time. I'm going in now."
The coachman was a middle-aged man, and he was quite easy to talk to. He waved his hand and walked into the mansion.
Mo Shisheng opened her eyes the moment the horse suddenly stopped, but remained seated in the carriage, seemingly unwilling to get off.
The two waited outside for a while, and seeing that Mo Shisheng hadn't come out yet, Jiang Yao frowned and asked Jiang Ge, "Is your sister asleep inside?"

Jiang Ge shook her head. "Go wake up my sister."
"Can!"
Jiang Yao was very excited. Her injuries had been healed long ago after recuperating at the Shangguan residence.
Upon hearing Jiang Ge's suggestion, Jiang Yao felt an immediate agreement and jumped onto the carriage. As she reached out to lift the curtain, a fair hand suddenly shot out, startling Jiang Yao so much that her face turned pale.
She slipped and fell, and then a fair hand lifted the carriage curtain, revealing a slender figure wearing a silver mask as she slowly stepped out.
When Mo Shisheng stood in front of the two of them, Jiang Yao stomped her foot and exclaimed, "Sister! Why did you scare me like that!"
Aren't you going to scare me too?
Mo Shisheng chuckled softly, raising her eyebrows slightly.
"Hmph! (╯^╰)!"
Jiang Yao turned her head away haughtily, but in less than a second, she shamelessly pressed herself against Mo Shisheng, her arms wrapped around Mo Shisheng's arm affectionately. "Sister, is Jialuo Academy fun?"
Hearing Jiang Yao's words, Mo Shisheng smiled faintly and gently flicked her forehead. "Your sister went to study, why were you just playing around?"
"Ouch!"
Jiang Yao exaggeratedly covered her forehead, looking at Mo Shisheng with teary eyes and a rather resentful gaze, "My sister doesn't like studying, and she made the teacher angry quite a bit back in the private school!"

Mo Shisheng gave Jiang Yao a cool look, "Are you asking for a beating?"

Seeing the stiff expression on Jiang Ge's face, Mo Shisheng gently shook her head. "Go inside. I still need to pay my respects to my grandfather."
Upon hearing Mo Shisheng's words, Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao immediately followed behind her obediently into the mansion.
