Chapter 309 Underground Royal City (6)

"Mo Shisheng, he's just an illegitimate child, why do you love him?"

Ming Qiancheng's voice carried a hint of confusion, "You're clearly mine."

"It's not light yet; it's not time to daydream."

Mo Shisheng said coldly, her lips pressed against the man's slender index finger, making her somewhat uncomfortable.

Ming Qiancheng seemed completely oblivious. He chuckled lightly, "Mo Shisheng, I'm really looking forward to seeing whether you'll choose him or me when you find out the truth."

I would rather die than choose you.

Mo Shisheng's tone was icy, and just as he finished speaking, the palace door was forcefully pushed open.

The sky gradually turned a pale white, mixed with the glow of the sunset, and shone on the tall figure at the door, stretching his shadow on the ground.

Mo Shisheng turned her head slightly and gave Ming Beiya a faint smile, "Long time no see."

A faint smile appeared in Ming Beiya's glassy eyes, and her thin, crimson lips parted slightly, "You're itching for a beating."

"Hit me then."

Upon hearing this, the girl raised her eyebrows slightly, her eyes sparkling with intelligence, and her tone softened without her realizing it.

This was a side of Mo Shisheng that Ming Qiancheng had never seen before. He slowly got up from the bed and walked a few steps to Ming Beiya. The two men, who were the same size, faced each other. One was wicked and effeminate, while the other was stunningly beautiful and aloof.

"For her sake, Gara Academy is abandoned?"

Ming Qiancheng's wicked smile deepened. "How come I never realized you were such a romantic?"

"How could you possibly understand me?"

Ming Beiya curled his lips slightly and strode towards the bedside. As he brushed past Ming Qiancheng, he said calmly, "I don't care about anything else, only she can belong to me."

These words were spoken so softly, as if a gust of wind had swept by.

He walked to the bedside, lowered his eyes to meet Mo Shisheng's gaze, and repeated, "You're itching for a beating."

"You didn't mock me? That's a miracle." Mo Shisheng chuckled and naturally stretched out her arms. "Hold me, my legs are numb."

For several days, Ming Beiya's mood had been shrouded in gloom, including the moment he saw Ming Qiancheng on top of his girl, when the urge to kill Ming Qiancheng was overwhelming.

But at that moment, he was successfully pleased by the girl's simple request to hug him.

Mo Shisheng commanded him like a queen on a throne, and Ming Beiya obeyed willingly. He leaned down slightly and lifted the thin blanket covering Mo Shisheng. One hand went under her waist, and the other hooked around the girl's slender legs, easily pulling her into his arms.

As he carried Mo Shisheng past Ming Qiancheng, Mo Shisheng rested her face against the man's broad chest, her bare feet swaying slightly. "We're leaving, you don't need to see us off."

Ming Qiancheng almost laughed in anger at Mo Shisheng's words. He glanced at Mo Shisheng lightly, "He disregarded even the Gara Academy to save you, and you..."

"real?"

Before Ming Qiancheng could finish speaking, Mo Shisheng tilted her face slightly up from Ming Beiya's embrace, the beauty mark at the corner of her eye becoming even more alluring.

Ming Beiya smiled slightly, her eyes filled with tenderness, and said gently, "Really."

"Then wouldn't I have also become a femme fatale?"

Mo Shisheng raised an eyebrow and then glanced at Ming Qiancheng. "I like being a femme fatale who brings ruin to a country. Your words will only make me happier."

Ming Qiancheng: "..."

He had never met a woman more bizarre than Mo Shisheng!

Ming Beiya didn't give Mo Shisheng another chance to talk to Ming Qiancheng, and carried her directly towards the palace gate.
