Mo Shisheng caught a glimpse of that slender figure out of the corner of her eye, and a glint flashed in her slightly lowered eyes.
After dinner, as night deepened, Ming Beiya went to attend to his work.
When Mo Shisheng pushed open the door and stepped into the courtyard, she found Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao feeding vegetables to the yellow cat in the iron cage. She went over to take a look and asked, "Why did you bring the yellow cat here?"
"The white one wasn't properly closed, so it ran away. When Jiang Ge and I went back, we found the yellow one under the bed, so we brought it along too."
As Jiang Yao ate, she held a cabbage leaf to Huang's three-lobed mouth, but Huang only opened its mouth half-heartedly. She frowned and asked suspiciously, "It hasn't eaten anything for almost a day. Is it sick?"
"If you don't eat, just beat them up."
Mo Shisheng glanced indifferently at the yellow rabbit in the cage. She remembered Ming Beiya saying that this was no ordinary rabbit.
Seeing that it wouldn't eat the cabbage leaves Jiang Yao fed it, Mo Shisheng suddenly said, "Ge, go to the kitchen and get a chicken leg."
"yes."
Jiang Ge nodded and turned to head towards the kitchen.
Hearing Mo Shisheng ask for a chicken leg, Jiang Yao threw the cabbage leaves she was holding into the cage, asking, "Sister, are you hungry?"
"I'm not the one who ate it."
Mo Shisheng said softly, her fair hand gently resting on the cage, her index finger tapping rhythmically on the cage.
Huang's heart pounded with fear...
Jiang Ge returned quickly with the chicken legs. She brought a plate with two chicken legs and a pair of chopsticks, placed them gently on the table, and then stood aside.
Jiang Yao watched as Mo Shisheng used chopsticks to place a chicken leg in front of the cage and exclaimed in surprise, "Sister, it's a rabbit! How could it eat..." meat?
"..."
However, before Jiang Yao could finish speaking, reality slapped her hard in the face.
As soon as Mo Shisheng handed the fragrant chicken leg to the cage, Huang immediately came over, its three-lobed mouth trying to peek out from the narrow gap.
Mo Shisheng stuffed the chicken leg into the cavity, and Huang began to eat with great relish.
The rabbit eats...eats chicken legs
When such a scene appeared before Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao's eyes, a look of horror and disbelief appeared in their eyes!
Mo Shisheng, however, thought it was normal. From the moment she realized that Ming Beiya was not an ordinary rabbit, she had never regarded Huang as a rabbit.
When Huang stubbornly refused to eat the cabbage leaves, Mo Shisheng realized that it must be a carnivore.
Suddenly, Mo Shisheng frowned slightly. "You all go and rest first."
"Hmm, what's wrong, sis?" Jiang Yao was still in shock when she saw Huang happily eating a chicken leg, and she suddenly felt hungry too...
I want to be alone for a while.
Mo Shisheng spoke calmly.
Jiang Yao felt that Mo Shisheng must be in a bad mood, and was about to ask her more questions when Jiang Ge pulled her away, covering her mouth as she left.
After Jiang Ge and Jiang Yao left, Mo Shisheng sat down gently at the stone table, her gaze falling on the cage as she watched Huang eat chicken legs.
Huang quickly finished a chicken leg, leaving not even a bone. As Mo Shisheng picked up another chicken leg with her chopsticks, she said calmly, "How long are you planning to hide?"
The figure in the shadows suddenly froze, instinctively wanting to turn and leave.
