As she was lost in thought, the door was suddenly pushed open, and Mo Shisheng glanced indifferently at the doorway.
The door didn't move, and then the noise subsided. She looked away; the door was sealed with her supernatural power, so it couldn't be opened easily.
Sleepiness washed over her, and she yawned softly, her eyes misting over. Just as she was about to go to sleep, she heard a strange noise above her head.
She squinted slightly and saw that the tiles on the roof beam had been lifted, and a tall, slender figure had leaped down from them.
It landed steadily in front of her bed.
The room was dimly lit by candlelight, casting a long shadow of the man on the floor.
As he prepared to sit down on the edge of the bed, Mo Shisheng suddenly raised her hand to block his approach with the air.
Ming Beiya frowned slightly, "Asheng..."
"roll."
Mo Shisheng's tone was slightly cold as she glanced lightly at the hole in the roof beam. "Where you rolled in, you'll roll out."
It was clear that the girl was really angry. Ming Beiya easily broke through Mo Shisheng's air barrier with a wave of his hand, flipped over and pressed down on her, restraining the girl's body and making her unable to move.
"Ming Beiya, get out of here."
Mo Shisheng knew that she was no match for the man in terms of strength, so she took a deep breath, slowly closed her eyes, and decided to avoid seeing him altogether!
"Ah Sheng, Lingya is just my younger sister..."
Ming Beiya gently kissed Mo Shisheng's forehead. "Her identity is somewhat special, but it's definitely not what you think."
Hearing the man's belated explanation, Mo Shisheng had no interest in listening anymore. She gently lifted her eyelids, her gaze languid, "You didn't offer an explanation when you needed one, and you don't need to offer one when you don't."
He probably didn't expect Mo Shisheng's attitude to be so firm. When he raised his hand to pinch the girl's fair chin and was about to kiss her, the coldness in Mo Shisheng's eyes stung his eyes.
“Ah Sheng, Lingya is unwell and very weak. I must protect her.”
It is because of you that I have to protect her.
Ming Beiya didn't say these words aloud, because Mo Shisheng hadn't regained her memories yet, and she wouldn't believe any of this anyway.
Ming Beiya gently got up from her and leaped onto the roof beam. The rustling sounds gradually disappeared.
Just as Mo Shisheng thought Ming Beiya had left, a slightly cold expression suddenly appeared on her lips.
Her eyes widened suddenly as she realized the man was trying to pry open her lips. She clenched her teeth tightly, refusing to let him succeed.
Ming Beiya reached out and 'rubbed' the girl's slender waist. She loosened her grip slightly because of the ticklish feeling. The man's attack was fierce, and his long tongue went straight in.
After being taken advantage of by the man, Mo Shisheng's chest heaved violently. He thought of the scene earlier that day when Ling Yaping was holding him tightly around the waist, and of Ming Beiya's words that he had to protect her.
Her anger intensified, and she opened her mouth and bit down hard.
Instantly, a bloody smell filled their mouths, and it was impossible to tell whose blood it was, but Ming Beiya refused to let go or back away, continuing the entanglement until death.
Finally, when the kiss ended, Mo Shisheng was panting heavily, blood staining her lips, adding a touch of allure.
She stuck out the tip of her tongue and licked it lightly, then said coldly, "Ming Beiya, if you have to protect her, then go ahead. I'll just consider it a dog bite; you don't need to take responsibility."
Seemingly surprised by the girl's words, Ming Beiya stared coldly at Mo Shisheng, "Asheng, take back what you said."
