Chapter 716 Ignorance is no excuse

"How is it?"

Mo Shisheng probably, maybe, perhaps knew a little bit that she wasn't quite normal when she was drunk, but her alcohol tolerance gradually increased afterward, and she would go to sleep after drinking with Mu Qingcheng each time, so she didn't know what she would do when she was drunk now.

"That's a question you'll have to ask yourself."

Ming Beiya spoke indifferently, withdrawing his long arm from the girl's waist. Before Mo Shisheng could even feel disappointed, the man also lifted the thin blanket draped over his body.

This action startled Mo Shisheng, and her gaze involuntarily fell on the man's skin, which was half-exposed to the air.

Neatly defined abdominal muscles, scratches and deep red bite marks on the chest, and even strawberries.

Mo Shisheng was stunned by the scene before her. She widened her eyes, swallowed hard, and met the man's gaze.

"What do you have to say?"

Ming Beiya locked his dark eyes on the girl, his voice low and cold.

"I can understand the scratches, but I can't understand how you could bite yourself."

Mo Shisheng was probably the kind of person who would say something shocking or outrageous. Her sudden, nonsensical remark stunned Ming Beiya. Before Ming Beiya could even grasp the meaning of her words, Mo Shisheng continued, "What does your arguing with yourself have to do with me sleeping soundly while drunk?"

Catch yourself

He grabbed himself

Upon receiving this answer, Ming Beiya's brow twitched violently. Finally, unable to bear it any longer, he reached out and grabbed her small face, asking, "Are you really stupid or just pretending?"

“”

Mo Shisheng felt a sharp pain on her face and raised her hand to try and slap Ming Beiya's hand away, but to no avail. She glared at Ming Beiya and said, "You're the stupid one!"

"You're the one who caught them, do you even know that?"

Left with no other option, the man growled.

A low growl startled Mo Shisheng, leaving her stunned as if she had gone mad. She blinked blankly, seemingly unable to believe Ming Beiya's words.

Finally, the man released Mo Shisheng's face, grabbed her small hand from under the blanket, and held it up to her face while pinching her wrist. "Take a good look at what's under your fingernails."

“”

As Ming Beiya continued his actions, Mo Shisheng no longer knew how to think about the problem and could only do whatever he said.

Mo Shisheng's gaze moved mechanically, and after seeing the bright red blood under her fingernails, her brain seemed to finally start working again.

Her lips twitched involuntarily. Looking again at the man's pale chest, badly scratched by her own actions, she said weakly, "It really was me."

“”

Still asking

Ming Beiya stared coldly at the girl, his gaze seeming to devour her whole.

Mo Shisheng completely chickened out. She reached out and gently placed her hand on the man's chest, which was covered in scratches and bite marks, and touched it with barely any force. "Does it hurt?"

Hearing this, the man glanced at her and said, "What do you think?"

"It must have hurt."

Also should

The man was extremely dissatisfied with this answer, his gaze growing even colder, which frightened Mo Shisheng so much that she quickly changed her tune, "Definitely! It definitely hurts a lot. I had no idea that my drunkenness would harm innocent bystanders."

As he finished speaking, Mo Shisheng's voice grew softer and softer. Perhaps it was because he had drunk too much the night before, and his mind was still a bit foggy, making it impossible for him to think clearly.

They were completely taken aback by Ming Beiya.
