Lin Qiu stood at the door and slowly turned around, her gaze falling on Mu Qingcheng, only to find that Mu Qingcheng still had her back to her, showing no intention of stopping her.
With a sigh, Linqiu carried Beiyin and disappeared at the entrance of the restaurant.
Suddenly, only Mu Qingcheng was left, and the place was eerily quiet.
She was the only one in the huge restaurant. A light rain began to fall outside, and the raindrops falling on the ground made the silence even more profound.
Mu Qingcheng trembled slightly. When she sat back down, she felt a chill run down her spine and her whole body was shaking with cold.
She put her feet on the seat, hugged her knees with both hands, buried her face between her knees, and soon her bent back began to tremble slightly.
A low sob came from between her knees, and slowly, the crying grew louder, while the rain outside poured down harder.
Outside the restaurant, Lin Qiu held Bei Yin under the eaves, looking up at the dark sky. The raindrops kept falling and splashing on the ground, making people feel lonely.

The Demon Realm.
When Ming Beiya woke up, he saw a tall, slender figure standing by the window.
He knew that figure to his very core; he could recognize it at a glance.
His tone was icy. "What are you doing here?"
Hearing Ming Beiya's voice, Ming Qiancheng, who was standing by the window, stirred slightly. He didn't turn around, but kept his back to Ming Beiya, and chuckled, "Do you know how long you've been asleep?"
"..."
Upon hearing this, Ming Beiya frowned slightly, sensing that Ming Qiancheng's words had a hidden meaning. However, his splitting headache made him unwilling to delve into the implications of Ming Qiancheng's words.
He raised his hand to rub his temples, and suddenly thought of that slender figure. As he was about to get out of bed, the noise was heard by Ming Qiancheng.

When he saw Ming Qiancheng's eyes, disbelief filled his gaze.
Ming Beiya's reaction was exactly what Ming Qiancheng had expected. He slightly curled his lips and said, "What, are you surprised?"

"It's been dug up, what else could have happened?"
Ming Qiancheng answered casually, gently playing with the jade ring on his thumb, and said softly, "Mo Shisheng awakened the power of the Demon Eye and transferred all the toxins in your body to herself. She then disappeared with Shi Youmi and the others. During the three days you were unconscious, I sent everyone to search for her, and even your subordinate Gui Su could not find out her whereabouts."
Upon hearing this, Ming Beiya pursed his lips slightly, turned around and walked out of the hall, only to see Chi Hu coming towards him. He was covered in dust and looked tired, as if he hadn't rested for several days.
"Sir, you're finally awake."
Upon seeing Ming Beiya, Chi Hu was taken aback for a moment, then quickly stepped forward and bowed, "Are you feeling unwell anywhere?"
"No."
Ming Beiya could feel that the toxins in his body had been completely cleared away, but the thought that Mo Shisheng had transferred all the toxins away from him caused him a sharp pain in his heart.
Thinking of Mo Shisheng, Ming Beiya asked in a low voice, "Is there any news about Asheng?"
"..."
Upon hearing Ming Beiya's question, Chi Hu shook his head, his brows furrowed tightly. "This time, even Gui Su is helpless."
