Chapter 938 I Can't Live Without You

The little dumpling, who had been ruthlessly slandered by Ming Beiya, looked at Mo Shisheng with a pair of bright black eyes. Although those eyes were still immature, they could be vaguely seen as long and narrow phoenix eyes, the same as those of Ming Qiancheng and Ming Beiya.

Just then, Ming Qiancheng, Xie, and Xiu slowly walked over. Although Ming Qiancheng had lost his eyes, it did not affect him in the slightest.

He walked over with a black cloth covering his eyes and wearing a dark purple robe.

Upon seeing Ming Qiancheng, Ming Beiya immediately grabbed the little dumpling and shoved it into his arms, saying, "Your son, take him away."

Suddenly, a soft little thing with a milky scent was stuffed into his arms, leaving Ming Qiancheng a little bewildered.

The little dumpling was just as bewildered, its tender face turned towards Ming Qiancheng, not understanding why he was covering its eyes with a black cloth.

"Walk."

Just as Mo Shisheng subconsciously looked at Ming Qiancheng, her wrist was suddenly grabbed and she was turned and walked to the other side.

Mo Shisheng frowned slightly. "Ming Beiya, if I wanted to break free from you, it would only take the blink of an eye."

"But you won't break free from me."

Ming Beiya naturally knew that Mo Shisheng had changed. She had awakened her demonic eyes, and if she wanted to break free from him, it would only be up to her own will.

"Is that so?"

As soon as she finished speaking, Mo Shisheng stopped and abruptly broke free from Ming Beiya's hand. She took a step back, widening the distance between herself and Ming Beiya.

What brings you here again?

“Ah Sheng…”

He probably didn't expect Mo Shisheng to break free from him. A hurt look flashed across Ming Beiya's eyes. He wanted to get closer to Mo Shisheng, but he was afraid that she would avoid him, so he stood still.

"..."

Upon hearing the long-unheard address, Mo Shisheng simply gazed at him calmly with her captivating peach blossom eyes.

Although most of her memories had faded, Mo Shisheng still underestimated Ming Beiya's influence on her.

She still remembers him clearly.

She still felt something when Ming Beiya called out to Asheng.

Why are you so cruel to me?

Ming Beiya's lips curled into a self-deprecating smile. "You knew this poison was incurable, yet you transferred it all to yourself. You're so cruel, Asheng."

"Then just consider me cruel."

Upon hearing this, Mo Shisheng gently turned her face to the side. A breeze blew by, causing the strands of hair by her ear to move.

Her voice was very soft, as soft as the wind, leaving no trace.

However, Ming Beiya heard it clearly. He pursed his thin, crimson lips and took a sudden step closer to Mo Shisheng, pulling her into his arms by her forearm.

He held her tightly with both hands, as if trying to merge her into his own body.

The two bones collided violently, even rubbing against each other when Ming Beiya pressed Mo Shisheng tightly into his arms; the pain was indescribable.

Mo Shisheng narrowed her eyes slightly, but didn't struggle, letting Ming Beiya hold her in his arms. "Ming Beiya, is this meaningful?"

"Ah Sheng, you know very well that I can't live without you."

Ming Beiya held Mo Shisheng in his arms so she couldn't see the expression on his face, and his words carried a hint of vulnerability and caution.

Mo Shisheng sighed softly, "No one is indispensable..."

"This is different."

Ming Beiya frowned slightly and interrupted Mo Shisheng, "I can't live without you."
