Half a year, just half a year. She would stay with Xi Chen for a year. After a year, she would leave Xi Chen and no longer participate in current affairs. She would find a small corner that belonged to her and hide away. She would wait until they were done fighting and settled down. Then she would come out. She had seen enough of the battle between immortals and demons and didn't want to care about it anymore. Since she didn't even have a clue of how to go home, she would just hide away for now.
Xi Chen looked at Su Yin quietly for a while, then agreed, "Okay, I promise you."
"You stay with me for a year. After a year, I will give you enough money, power, and status to let you go."
This was starting to look more and more like a deal, Su Yin chuckled self-deprecatingly. But it was fine this way. After a year, she could just leave without a second thought. There was nothing to be said for. Besides, Xi Chen was the Supreme Being of the Demon Realm, so he must be incredibly wealthy. And his personality was far better than anyone she'd ever met. So, no matter what, following him wouldn't hurt her at all.
Thinking about it, he nodded secretly, stretched out his hand to Xi Chen, and said with a smile, "Then, happy cooperation."
Looking at the white little hands hanging in the air, Xi Chen was stunned at first. Then, receiving the signal in Su Yin's eyes, he smiled slowly and followed Su Yin's example to hold the little hands hanging in the air.
