Bet

"Since you don't care, you probably don't mind making a bet with me, right?" Linglong raised the corners of her mouth with a confident look.

"A bet? What do you mean?"

Su Yin frowned slightly and asked Linglong in return. But before she could really understand what Linglong meant, Linglong grabbed Su Yin's neck with lightning speed. With a little force, Su Yin felt difficulty breathing.

"Let go," Su Yin struggled weakly, but it was useless. Linglong might appear incredibly weak, but as a cultivator, she possessed immense strength. Su Yin struggled mightily but couldn't break free from her grip.

"Hmph, what do you think is the real reason why I haven't killed a young girl like you? For me, crushing you to death is as easy as crushing an ant." Linglong sneered and slowly increased the strength of her hands. Looking at Su Yin's difficulty breathing, she felt a pain in her heart.

What kind of people are these? Are all the people here so fond of choking and threatening others? Su Yin silently rolled her eyes. Seeing that Linglong's strength was far superior to hers, she simply stopped struggling. Since she hadn't killed her before, she certainly wouldn't do it now. As for what she really wanted to do, she needed to observe quietly.

Clenching her hands slightly in her sleeves, Su Yin secretly prepared to unleash her spiritual power. While Linglong might know some of her past, and that she'd spent time in Shenghan Mountain, she didn't know the true story. Besides, someone like her didn't look like a cultivator, so Linglong certainly couldn't possibly have known that much. Furthermore, few people in this world truly knew her true identity. Besides the small amount of spiritual power she'd used in front of Luo Wen, she hadn't used much else. Therefore, this unknown spiritual power was her only chance to save herself.

Su Yin clenched his palms slightly, but suddenly he found the courage to face Linglong and asked directly, "What do you want?"

"What do you want?" Linglong raised an eyebrow and looked at Su Yin's slender neck, trying hard to suppress the urge to crush it. "I said, I want to make a bet with you."

Are you crazy? Su Yin frowned and looked at Linglong, "What the hell are you...ah!"

Su Yin, who had lost her support, sat down on the ground all of a sudden. She stretched out her fingers and tried desperately to get out the thing that Linglong had stuffed into her throat when she was not paying attention, but she found it was in vain. The strange thing strangely melted in her mouth.

"What did you give me to eat?" Sitting on the ground, Su Yin glared at Linglong.

"What?" Linglong smiled devilishly. "I told you, I want to make a bet with you. I want you to truly see who he cares about. Is it me who has been by his side every year, or you, a girl who suddenly appeared out of nowhere."

"What?" Su Yin's heart tightened, and she subconsciously felt bad. She objected, "I said, I don't care. What he thinks has nothing to do with me. He and I are over. Don't you understand?"

"But it's not over for me." Linglong retorted, looking at the pale Su Yin and smiling, "Be patient. After this bet is over, you will be truly free."
