Nothing has changed

Inside the room, Luo Wen, who was writing at the table, heard a slight sound. He raised his head slightly and saw Su Yin walking in. Luo Wen's frown finally showed some signs of relaxation.

"You're here." Luo Wen gently put down the pen, and a faint smile appeared at the corner of his mouth.

You are here.

Such a simple sentence instantly made Su Yin let go of all her defenses. Just Luo Wen's words made Su Yin feel like a huge stone had instantly fallen from her chest. He was still the same person, nothing had changed, hadn't it? There was no trace of strangeness or unfamiliarity. Just a simple sentence made Su Yin feel extremely relieved.

"Well, I'm back." Su Yin also replied to Luo Wen with a warm smile, turned around, closed the door, and walked quickly towards Luo Wen.

After pressing his nose hard, Luo Wen finally felt some energy restored. Seeing Su Yin walking towards him, Luo Wen perked up and asked, "How's it going? Did you have fun today?"

Happy? Su Yin supported her chin with both hands, lay down in front of Luo Wen's desk, propped up her head and thought for a while, then said to Luo Wen, "It's hard to say whether I'm happy or not. Besides, someone should have reported my whereabouts to you a long time ago." Rolling her eyes at Luo Wen, Su Yin couldn't help complaining.

Luo Wen was slightly stunned, pursed his lips, and admitted bluntly, "I just asked them to protect your safety, nothing else."

"Okay, okay. Of course I know everything. I was just teasing you. Don't take it seriously." He blinked mischievously at Luo Wen, but a look of worry crept onto Su Yin's cheek amidst his laughter.

"But you put all your secret guards by my side. What about your own safety? Who will protect you?"

Seeing that the little girl was so sensible and worried about him, Luo Wen curled his lips and stroked Su Yin's head with his big hands. Even his voice, which was usually as cold as ice, softened a little at this time. "I'm fine. Few people in this world dare to act rashly on my territory."

"But this is the human world, not your territory." Su Yin pursed her lips and retorted bluntly.

A large hand gently brushed Su Yin's head. Looking at Su Yin, who lay before his desk with a worried look on her face, Luo Wen felt a wave of warmth creeping into his heart. It turned out that he could also experience such a peaceful life, the feeling of being cared for and missed by someone, so close at hand...

With his eyes slightly narrowed, Luo Wen looked at Su Yin who was still lying on the corner of the table. His heart moved. He quickly grabbed Su Yin's wrist with one hand, and with a little force, let Su Yin fall into his arms. The other hand also quickly embraced Su Yin's slender waist. The next moment, Su Yin sat steadily between his legs.

"You..." Su Yin tried desperately to suppress his pounding heart. Looking at the cold and handsome face so close to him, he forgot to breathe for the first time.

"It's too far." Ignoring Su Yin's astonishment, Luo Wen murmured to himself, gently placed his head on Su Yin's shoulder, and tightly embraced Su Yin's slender waist with both hands, holding her whole body in his arms.

"But how can I speak when you're like this?" Su Yin moved away from Luo Wen's arms with a little uneasiness, but was grabbed back by Luo Wen.

He gently placed his chin on the top of Su Yin's head, "That's it, that's good."
