He finally tore a hole in the horrific fire scene. Su Luoyin looked at the person blocking her way in disbelief. A face that was so beautiful and cold that it was breathtaking was half hidden in the slightly messy hair on his forehead. His chin had a beautiful curve, a delicate and high nose bridge, skin as white as ice and snow, and a purple robe that fluttered up and down with the strong airflow. He seemed to be guarding her in front of her with light, protecting her from any harm.
"You..." Su Luoyin came back to his senses and looked at Luo Wen blankly.
Hearing Su Luoyin's voice, Luo Wen turned around, and his eyes as deep as a cold pond looked at her without saying a word.
"You..." Su Luoyin paused again, staring blankly at his current appearance. In her impression, Luo Wen always maintained his innate spirit of not giving up even when he was in a sad or desperate situation. She... had never seen him so embarrassed as today.
She seemed to finally see clearly. His purple robes were already tattered, and it looked as if he had suffered even greater censure before meeting Rong Jing. His chest was stained with blood, and he looked as if he hadn't washed in days. His face was a picture of weariness and fatigue. He was barely holding up the barrier, his face paler than ever, and his body heaving violently, as if he would collapse at any moment.
"You, why are you...?" Su Luoyin asked blankly. Luo Wen simply glanced at her and continued to strengthen the barrier. As his power increased, the barrier's range grew larger and larger, gathering all the nether fire in the field into one place.
"No!" Seeing the situation becoming increasingly critical, Su Luoyin could no longer restrain herself and grabbed Luo Wen's arm. "Stop, stop, what on earth do you want to do?"
Su Luoyin watched anxiously as Rong Jing was surrounded by the Nether Fire. The situation became increasingly critical. His skin was burned and Rong Jing's face was tense, but it became increasingly difficult to deal with the Nether Fire that was growing bigger and bigger around him.
"Stop! Stop!" Su Luoyin shouted, no longer caring about anything else, shaking Luo Wen's arm and begging.
"Why?" Luo Wen was completely indifferent to Su Luoyin's begging, but suddenly blurted out this question.
What? Su Luoyin glanced at Luo Wen. His icy eyes stared at her fiercely, as if he was determined to get an answer. "Since you want to save me, why can't you bear to leave him?"
"Su Yin, what exactly do you want?" Luo Wen paused slightly, staring at her closely, waiting for her answer.
Is that what you want? Su Luoyin was stunned for a moment, his eyes unable to help but look around him. Amidst the flames, Su Luoyin suddenly discovered that in the vicinity of the weak fire, several disciples of Shenghan Mountain had broken free from the restraints of the Nether Fire and were calling out Rong Jing's name loudly, heading in this direction.
"Let's go! Let's go!" Su Luoyin couldn't think of anything else anymore, so she grabbed Luo Wen's hand and pulled him away in the opposite direction.
"Let's go, let's go!" Su Luoyin pulled Luo Wen hard, but Luo Wen turned a deaf ear to her and stood there, using his remaining strength to maintain the barrier.
Su Luoyin was clearly getting anxious. As she watched the men approaching from the corner of her eye, her anxiety grew even greater. She pulled Luo Wen hard, trying to take him away. "If you don't leave now, you'll die! Why are you so stubborn and refusing to admit defeat? What's wrong with just a little bit of surrender?"
