Snowy Day

"Are you always this crazy when playing games?"

"Not really." He scratched his head embarrassedly, "I'm just happy today."

"Happy, is it because it's snowing today?" Looking at Su Yin, who was covered with white fur with only his head exposed, stretching out his little paws, just like a little fat fox, Xi Chen couldn't help laughing.

"Yeah, of course." Speaking of snow, Su Yin's eyes suddenly gleamed. "When it snows, it's as if the whole world is white. Although it's a bit cold, this kind of beauty has a magical power that purifies the soul. Don't you think so?"

Xi Chen smiled faintly and didn't answer. He stretched out his hand, watching the ice crystals melt in his palm. "Do you know that this kind of coldness is also dangerous?"

"In this place, countless people freeze to death every winter."

"Yeah." Su Yin couldn't help but feel sad as he exhaled a puff of white smoke. "But there's nothing perfect in the world, right, Xi Chen?"

Xi Chen glanced at Su Yin in surprise, then quickly turned his head back and looked up at the heavy snow.

Wrapping my cloak tightly around myself, the snow in the sky seemed to be getting heavier and heavier. Looking into the distance, in an instant, the mountains, fields, and villages were all covered in white snow.

Seeing that there was silence for a long time, Su Yin couldn't help but look back at Xi Chen beside him. His brows were slightly wrinkled, and his eyes were looking into the distance, as if he was looking at something, but there seemed to be nothing in his eyes. The heavy snow fell on his light-colored robe and inky black hair. He stood alone in the snow, and the white outlined his handsome face, like a snow elf.

While Su Yin was looking at him, Xi Chen also looked back at her. Her snow-white fur made her beautiful eyes look even more lively. When she saw him looking at her, she quickly lowered her head, not daring to look at him again.

"Is it cold?" Xi Chen asked.

"Ah? It's okay...it's okay." Su Yin was caught peeping at the handsome man again. He lowered his head guiltily and answered randomly.

"Do you want to go back?" Xi Chen asked tentatively, "The snow is getting heavier, and the weather is starting to get colder."

Go back? Looking up at the heavy snow falling in the sky, Su Yin shook her head. She was not going back. It was snowing today. She wanted to watch it for a while longer.

"It snows frequently here, and it would be bad if you get frozen. Come back with me." Xi Chen continued to persuade Su Yin.

"Do you know why I like snowy days?" Instead of answering Xi Chen, Su Yin asked.

Xi Chen was stunned and shook his head.

Su Yin smiled, "Because the day it snows is the day the whole world is baptized. You don't need to hide any of your secrets. You are you."

"You are you?"

Xi Chen frowned, not understanding what Su Yin meant.

"I feel that in your world, everyone is too good at pretending. But I hate this kind of life, but in order to survive, I have to pretend to be something that doesn't belong to me. And this day belongs to me." Su Yin suddenly patted Xi Chen lightly, saying, "And you, don't be so anxious to go back."

"I see you're so exhausted from dealing with affairs every day, and you're always the same to everyone. That's the most terrifying thing about you. Come on, why don't you take advantage of the snow and relax for a while?"
