Waiting for an opportunity

Following the sound, the curtain was suddenly lifted up, and strong sunlight suddenly shone in, forcing Su Luoyin to turn her head slightly to avoid it.

The woman didn't look surprised to see Su Luoyin awake. She just nodded calmly, "I guessed you were awake."

Su Luoyin's mouth had been blocked tightly, so she could only stare at the woman. The woman had already changed out of her pink dress and was only wearing a rough linen dress. She had no makeup on her face and her appearance was plain and simple, not at all eye-catching.

The woman smiled coldly, and seeing that Su Luoyin couldn't speak, she took the initiative to step forward and take off the white cloth from Su Luoyin's mouth.

Su Luoyin observed the woman warily, having already noticed the silver needle hidden in her hand. He sneered inwardly. It turned out that she had been so confident in letting him speak, and she had a backup plan.

Seeing that Su Luoyin noticed the hidden weapon in her hand, the woman smiled faintly and said, "Miss Su is a sensible person. If you ruin our business and don't obey us, we can only ensure that she lives well. If she loses something, please don't blame me, your sister."

"What on earth do you want to do?" Su Luoyin was alert and tactfully did not shout for help.

The woman nodded slowly, making sure that Su Luoyin had no other options. Then she smiled sarcastically but did not answer Su Luoyin's words. "Don't ask so many questions. Just be honest." With that, she closed the curtain and continued to cover Su Luoyin's mouth, preventing her from speaking again.

Su Luoyin was helpless. Looking around, he realized he was destined to ride in a carriage, and especially this shabby old one. Thinking of this, Su Luoyin couldn't help but sneer and quietly closed his eyes to meditate.

The following days were particularly boring for Su Luoyin. He was on the road every day and could only take a short rest at night. He would stay in an inn or rest somewhere in the wild for a night. The next day, he would be on the road again.

They were extremely careful, not giving Su Luoyin the slightest chance to leave a signal. Every day, she was tied up tightly and placed on the carriage. Even for trivial matters like going to the toilet, someone would accompany her, leaving her no chance to escape.

Su Luoyin was obedient, playing the victim. She was quiet and listened to them. She did whatever they told her to do, even pretending to be terrified. To others, she looked like a woman who posed no threat to them. But in her heart, Su Luoyin didn't think so. She was waiting for an opportunity, a perfect opportunity.

This was just a prelude. She saw it this way. While the distance from Qianyue's Absolute City diminished, the chances of Qianyue finding her were diminishing. This was also necessary to paralyze the enemy. The further they advanced, the more they would lower their guard. Since she posed no threat, she had to wait patiently for an opportunity to strike and kill. The enemy only had five or six men, and while each possessed extremely high abilities, she still had a chance of success given their complete lack of defense.

Waiting does pay off. Within a few days, she finally got the opportunity she had been waiting for.

One afternoon, when Su Luoyin was lowering her head and slowly gathering her spiritual power, she suddenly felt the carriage shake, and the vibration was so strong that she could suddenly feel unwell.

"Why is it him? Why are they here?!"
