Extra 2: Summer Fireflies
The summer sun in the evening is still scorching, and the sound of cicadas echoes all around.
You Xiaohun lazily lay on the corridor with her chin resting on her arm. She picked up a grass stem from the ground and teased Shimi's rhinoceros beetle out of boredom.
Shimi looked at her from a distance, then turned and went into the house. After a while, he came out with something and walked towards her.
Shiya threw what he had in his hand towards her.
You Xiaohun didn't even look at it, and subconsciously raised her hand to catch it. She looked down and saw that it was a set of clothes?
Shiya: "Change your clothes and take you out to play."
When You Xiaohun heard this, he immediately became excited: "Where are we going to play?"
Shimi felt funny when he looked at her sparkling eyes, and secretly sighed that she really couldn't sit still. She was so old, but still loved to play.

Seeing this, Shiya smiled and stopped teasing her: "Come, let me help you with your hair again."

You Xiaohun turned around in a circle and asked him, "Does it look good?"
"She looks beautiful." Shimi looked at her. Although there was a scar on her face, it did not affect her agility at all, which made him a little dazed.
Shimi also changed his clothes. The pattern on his clothes was exactly the same as You Xiaohun's. It was obviously a couple's outfit. You Xiaohun realized it belatedly.
The two walked out of the house and saw that the night was brightly lit and the streets were bustling with people.
It turned out that Shimizu wanted to bring her to the summer festival.
You Xiaohun excitedly pulled Shimi's hand and looked around the crowd.
They came to a snack stand, and there were apple candies! They looked delicious.
"Shimi, do you want to try it?" You Xiaohun handed it to Shimi.
"Who wants to eat something this sweet?" Shimi said with disgust.
You Xiaohun took a bite, squinted his eyes in satisfaction, and the corners of his mouth unconsciously rose, revealing a happy smile.
His eyes involuntarily fell on the corner of You Xiaohun's mouth, which was stained with a little candy, and the candy was gleaming in the light.

Shiya chuckled at her cute appearance.
As time went by, the crowds gradually dispersed, and the once bustling streets became much quieter. The colorful lanterns still swayed gently in the breeze, and the vendors began to pack up their stalls.
"Let's go back."
The two walked and walked.
"Shiya, are we taking the wrong road? This is not the way home."
“I’m not going the wrong way.”
You Xiaohun followed him in confusion.
They gradually walked into the forest and followed the winding path for a while, when the view suddenly opened up without warning.
A lake appeared before my eyes. The surface of the lake was like a huge mirror, calm and waveless, reflecting the bright moon completely. The moonlight sprinkled on the lake, as if covering the lake with a layer of silver gauze, making the waves sparkle.
You Xiaohun was shocked by the scene before her. Fireflies flying all around her were like stars, flashing soft light. They lightly shuttled through the woods and on the lake, dancing in this world. She slowly stretched out her hand, and a firefly landed on her fingertips.
She lowered her head slightly, looked at the firefly, and a pure smile appeared on her face. That smile looked particularly moving against the backdrop of the moonlight and the firefly's light.
Shimi stood aside, watching this scene, his eyes full of pampering and love.
They sat side by side on the ground, admiring the view.
"Thank you, Shiya."
Shiya had been thinking recently, was it really right to force her to stay by his side? With her broad vision, he could almost imagine how colorful her original world must be. Trapping her in this small world would probably make her feel very boring.
"Stay here," he said hesitantly, "I mean, if you stay in this world, will you find it... boring?"
The sensitive You Xiaohun immediately understood the worry in Shimi's words.
She responded, "How could that be? Our world does have countless entertainment options, and life seems exciting. But the price that comes with it is polluted water and air, disappearing forests, endangered animals, and an increasingly restless mind. She paused, then continued, "I really like this world. The abundant spiritual energy here makes me feel very comfortable." She smiled faintly, her eyes filled with starlight, "Most importantly, I have you here."
Upon hearing this, Shimi felt a sense of guilt that had not completely dissipated, so he told her his decision: "Xiaohun, let's go on a trip! Wherever you want to go, we'll go there."
The worry on You Xiaohun's face disappeared, and she looked at him excitedly and said, "Really? Okay~ Then let's set off tomorrow!"
Looking at her unconcealed excitement, Shimi couldn't help laughing in his heart. She even said that she wasn't bored, but this reaction clearly showed that she was bored.
"Shimi, I love you the most~" You Xiaohun said excitedly, hugging his neck.
Before she finished her words, Shiya's eyes dimmed, he raised his hand to hold the back of her neck, and with irresistible force, he lowered his head and sealed her slightly parted lips.
Then, Shiya put his other arm around her waist and lifted her up easily.
Shiya buried his forehead deep in the crook of her neck, his heavy and hot breath seeming to spray on her heart, causing a slight shudder. His arms slowly tightened, his voice hoarse as he whispered:
"……May I?"
Here? You Xiaohun's mind went blank, unable to think.
Shyness and love intertwined and surged, and in the end, love prevailed. She didn't dare to look up, but buried her hot cheeks deeper into his shoulders and spoke in an almost inaudible voice.
"Hmm~"
