As Yunzhi spoke, she took out a small bottle from her person, opened the cap, and placed it under the princess's nose.
The princess slowly awoke and was startled to see Yunzhi. She was especially terrified when she remembered that Yunzhi had killed all her subordinates.
"What do you want to do?" the princess suddenly shouted, moving her body backward.
"The princess is awake?" Yunzhi laughed and said, "Don't get excited. I didn't do anything. I just woke you up."
"You're really that kind?" The princess asked suspiciously. She was about to kill Yunzhi, so why wouldn't she do anything for her?
It's no wonder the eldest princess was suspicious; if it were her, she wouldn't have been able to repay evil with kindness either.
"Of course...no." Yunzhi laughed and said, "It's only right to reciprocate. The princess gave me such a generous gift, so I should at least give her a small return gift, shouldn't I?"
"What are you going to do to me?" The princess looked at Yunzhi with a wary expression, especially when she saw Yunzhi's gaze fall on her face, she thought that Yunzhi was going to ruin her appearance.
So she screamed, “No, you can’t do this to me! You can’t ruin my looks!”
Hearing this, Yunzhi found it somewhat amusing. It is said that women should not make things difficult for each other. Although the princess disliked her and even wanted to kill her, she never thought of disfiguring the princess.
As a woman, she naturally knew the importance of appearance for women.
Therefore, she smiled and said to the princess, "Don't worry, I won't ruin your appearance."
"Really?" The eldest princess was somewhat skeptical, staring intently at Yunzhi, trying to glean something from her expression.
Yunzhi remained completely open and honest, letting the other person look at her without the slightest hint of guilt. After all, she had never had such thoughts, had she?
Seeing that Yunzhi didn't avoid her gaze at all, the princess believed her. But she wondered what exactly the return gift Yunzhi had mentioned was.
However, she didn't have to wait long before Yunzhi took out a bottle and said to the princess with a smile, "This is my return gift. Enjoy it later."
The princess glanced at the small bottle suspiciously, then suddenly understood and said, "You want to poison me and control me?"
It's no wonder the princess thought that way, since she herself often used this tactic to control the servants in her household, as well as those who didn't listen to her.
With this poison, whether they are servants or disobedient ones, they all have no choice but to obey her. If she tells them to go east, they won't go west.
"Control you?" Yunzhi laughed, turned to look at Dongli Lucang, and asked, "Your Highness, do you think we need to control her?"
Upon hearing Yunzhi's words, the princess realized that there was someone else present whom she had not yet noticed.
Perhaps she was too afraid, or perhaps she only had eyes for Yunzhi, so she hadn't noticed Dongli Lucang's existence for so long.
The eldest princess was still afraid of Lu Cang of Dongli. She felt he was a cold-blooded and ruthless man; her son was, after all, his grand-nephew, yet he killed him without hesitation, showing no mercy whatsoever.
Out of fear, she instinctively backed away. But she only managed a tiny step before she had nowhere left to retreat. Her body was now pressed against the wall.
Seeing her like this, Yunzhi found it somewhat amusing and said, "Princess, are you scared already?"
