"What do you think?" Yunzhi stared coldly at the man, as if she wanted to pierce him through. The man was terrified and turned to run away.
Unexpectedly, Ru Mei and Ru Lan, who had been lying down, stood up and blocked his way.
"What... what do you want to do?" The man looked at Yunzhi with fear, afraid that if she displeased him, he would be finished.
He just wanted to make some money; he didn't want to risk his life.
"Isn't this the question I should be asking you?" Yunzhi said calmly.
"I... I was forced," the man said, kneeling down before Yunzhi. "Girl, please spare me!"
"It's not impossible for me to spare you. However, it depends on whether you cooperate."
"I'll cooperate, of course." The man nodded, then asked, "What would you like me to do, young lady?"
Soon, sounds unsuitable for children began to emanate from the pavilion.
Princess Langhua had been watching this area closely. Upon hearing the commotion, she said to the group admiring the flowers, "Everyone must be tired. Let's go over there and rest for a bit."
Princess Langhua pointed slightly towards the house behind the pavilion, and everyone nodded with smiles, then followed Princess Langhua toward the house.
Hu Ling'er and Yun Zhu walked behind, exchanged a knowing glance, and couldn't help but feel excited.
They knew that Princess Langhua must have succeeded, otherwise she wouldn't have brought them here.
As they drew closer to the pavilion, the sounds from inside became increasingly clear. Although none of them were married, they knew what was happening there. And so, they all blushed with embarrassment.
Of course, some were genuinely shy, while others were simply excited.
Princess Langhua naturally couldn't just rush over like that, so she secretly sent someone to invite the Eldest Princess over.
Upon receiving the news, the eldest princess hurried over with a dark expression. When she saw the young men and women surrounding the pavilion, her expression worsened.
"What happened?" The eldest princess glanced at her daughter and asked.
“Mother, the person in the pavilion seems to be the Regent’s wife. Before, she said she was tired, so I told her to rest in the pavilion. I never expected her to do something like this.”
"The Regent's Consort?" The eldest princess's expression darkened further. She knew about Yunzhi's arranged marriage to the Regent. Therefore, she hadn't sent Yunzhi an invitation.
But now, her daughter says the person inside is the Regent's Consort. What else doesn't she understand? Her daughter must have deliberately sent the invitation to Yunzhi and then plotted against her.
Otherwise, Yunzhi isn't mentally ill, so why would she do such a thing in the princess's residence?
But what can I do? I'm the one who gave birth to my daughter. I can only clean up her messes.
Thinking of this, the eldest princess glared at her daughter and was about to tell her to leave with her people. Unexpectedly, a door behind them suddenly opened, and Yunzhi walked out, smiling as she asked, "I think I just heard someone calling me?"
"You, what are you doing here?" Princess Langhua looked at Yunzhi in shock. She had clearly brought Yunzhi to this pavilion. How could she have come out of the back room?
“Princess Langhua, why can’t I be here?” Yunzhi asked with a smile.
Then, she exclaimed in surprise and asked, "What was that sound?"
However, just as she finished speaking, an excited male voice suddenly came from inside the pavilion, saying, "Princess Langhua, I love you, I absolutely adore you."
