"Miracle doctor, has the poison in my son been cured?"
"More or less. However, he still needs to take a few more doses of medicine to remove the remaining toxins and replenish his body. His body has been severely depleted in the past two years, and if he doesn't replenish it properly, it will affect his lifespan."
"Then I would like to trouble you, sir, to prescribe a remedy."
Yunzhi nodded, and then wrote a prescription for Qin Zhiye that could both detoxify him and nourish his body.
After writing out the prescription, Yunzhi gave some instructions.
"Divine Physician, this is a small token of our appreciation. Please accept it." The Duchess of Qin took out the gift she had prepared in advance and handed it to Yunzhi.
Looking at the box that was delivered, Yunzhi didn't refuse. Although they had already paid a deposit when they made the appointment, the consultation fee still needed to be collected.
After receiving the money, Yunzhi packed her things to leave. Duke Qin personally escorted Yunzhi to the gate and said to her, "Thank you, divine physician."
"You're welcome. It's my duty as a doctor to save lives." Yunzhi smiled, then left with her medicine box on her back.
Rulan, who was waiting at the door in her carriage, immediately went to greet her mistress when she saw her come out.
Once seated in the carriage, Yunzhi immediately said to Rulan, "Let's not go back to the Dark Tower yet. Let's find a place to eat first."
"Yes, Miss!" Rulan nodded and drove the carriage towards the street.
However, as soon as their carriage left, someone emerged from the shadows and quietly followed them.
Yunzhi lifted the carriage curtain a crack and, seeing the person secretly following her, couldn't help but sneer. It seemed she had gotten herself into trouble.
But it doesn't matter. As long as they dare to come, she will make sure they don't leave alive.
"Miss, is someone following us?" Rulan also noticed that someone was following them and asked with some confusion, "Could it be someone from the Duke of Qin's mansion?"
You guessed right.
"Why? Could it be that someone doesn't want Prince Qin to get better?" Rulan wasn't stupid; she immediately guessed the key point.
"Most likely." Yunzhi smiled, feeling some sympathy for Qin Zhiye. Born into a noble family, he had indeed enjoyed a life of luxury since childhood, but he had also inevitably been involved in power struggles.
If he hadn't met her, he would have been dead.
"How terrifying!" Rulan sighed. She had grown up with Yunzhi in the Xu family and Medicine King Valley in Jiangnan. Both places had large populations, yet such a thing had never happened in either the Xu family or Medicine King Valley. Everyone was very united and harmonious.
"This is nothing; there are many more terrifying things to come," Yunzhi said, somewhat amused. Throughout history, there have been countless instances of couples turning against each other and brothers fighting amongst themselves.
"Alright, that's because this servant is ignorant."
The master and servant talked as they headed towards the restaurant. They arrived shortly afterward.
The man who was following them saw the carriage stop and waited for a while until he was sure the two had entered the restaurant before leaving to report to his master.
Yunzhi and Rulan entered the restaurant and found a table to sit down and eat. When they were halfway through their meal, a gust of wind swept by, and the two of them changed their expressions and slightly turned their heads to avoid it.
With a thud, a dart landed on their table, with a note attached to it.
Rulan glanced at the note and saw only one line: "Mind your own business, or your life will be in danger."
"Miss, look!" Rulan took the note down and handed it to Yunzhi, saying, "This person is too arrogant!"
