"So for the time being, we can't be sure that it's related to Xiao Chen. Maybe he was framed? Everything will become clear only after Xiao Chen is found." I analyzed.

"This is a serious matter, squad leader, let's keep it secret for now." I said to the squad leader solemnly.

Qin Lan cannot know about this for the time being, not to mention that Xiao Chen is Qin Lan's fiancé.

Even we ourselves haven't figured out Xiao Chen's identity yet. It would be inappropriate to tell anyone now, and it would easily cause panic.

The squad leader agreed and prepared to put the pistol box back and hide it.

I had been out for a while. After cleaning up the traces, I followed the squad leader back towards the cave.

As soon as I reached the entrance of the cave, I met Qin Lan coming out.

"Fade Chen, where have you been? I haven't seen you since early this morning."

"I went out for a walk with the squad leader and picked some fruits." I answered casually.

Looking at Qin Lan's anxious and expectant eyes, I understood what she wanted to ask.

I pulled her aside and said, "Xiao Chen's box was picked up by the squad leader from the beach. No one else was seen."

As soon as she heard what I said, Qin Lan's eyes suddenly dimmed a lot.

"It's okay, let's keep looking. He must be on this island." Seeing Qin Lan's lost look, I comforted her.
