"Ah!" The fat man cried out in regret, then remembered something and quickly covered his mouth with his hands. He bent over and looked in the direction of Qin Lan and the others in fear. He looked around and found that no one was paying attention to him, and he was secretly happy.
But when the fat man thought of what Jack had said to him, he felt discouraged and began to complain: "This won't work! That won't work! Who knew that the ghost girl still had all these old memories, and it would make things worse!"
Before he finished, he sat down on the ground, still mumbling something. The fat man then spat again: "What a damn bad luck!"
The fat man stared into the distance, his mind wandering. The more he thought about it, the more irritated he became. He thought about the spate of strange incidents, and his heart trembled with fear. He felt a tingling sensation in his chest. He felt something sticky on his body, and his back felt cold and uncomfortable.
The fat man subconsciously rubbed his hands, which were covered with cold sweat. He quickly fell silent and sighed, fear surging in his heart.
The fat man walked tremblingly, his steps were empty and weak. The fat man didn't know where he should go. He just felt scared and wanted to find someone to accompany him.
Qin Lan's voice and appearance flashed through his mind, becoming clearer and clearer. The fat man grinned foolishly, and his body was filled with heat.
"Qin Lan..." the fat man called, but no one paid any attention to him.
He called again, but still no one responded.
The fat man was like a possessed man, with a strong desire to see Qin Lan. This idea slowly took root and sprouted, and grew into a towering tree as he unconsciously went to find Qin Lan.
The fat man thought that he wanted to confess his love to Qin Lan, and he must make Qin Lan his girlfriend, definitely.
The fat man ran faster and faster, and ran straight in front of Qin Lan. He suddenly braked and almost fell.
Jack, Xiao Ding and a few others gathered in a group, talking about something. Jiang Chu was among them. Qin Lan was sitting alone, staring at Jiang Chu in a daze.
The fat man smiled even more happily. He stared at Qin Lan and thought, isn't this God helping me?
Turning around, the fat man confessed to Qin Lan with a blushing face without saying a word: "Qin Lan, I like you! The kind of like that makes me want to marry you! I hope you will be with me for the rest of my life! I promise you won't suffer if you stay with me! I will make you the happiest woman in the world!" The fat man said loudly without pause what he had confessed to other girls before.
The fat man was proud. He didn't dare to say anything else, but he had been saying these endless love words from his childhood to adulthood. He had memorized them by heart and could use them freely.
The fat man's loud voice successfully attracted everyone's attention.
Qin Lan was stunned at first, then she reacted and blushed.
The fat man was overjoyed when he saw her. He had seen this kind of reaction many times. Other girls were like this. It seemed that Qin Lan also liked him.
The fat man didn't realize that sometimes blushing was just a natural reaction, while others might just be his imagination.
Seeing the fat man's happy expression, Qin Lan was startled, frowned, stood up and shook her head and waved her hands: "No! No! That...that..." Qin Lan looked at the fat man and didn't know what to say for a moment. She looked back in panic and met my gaze.
I smiled at her tightly pursed lips, and relaxed my body.
The fat man seemed not to notice Qin Lan's embarrassment. He lowered his head as if embarrassed and said anxiously in a rapid tone: "It should be... probably... the first time I saw you... I felt that you were different from other girls. You exude a unique charm that particularly attracted me." After saying that, the fat man looked at Qin Lan affectionately. His affectionate look made Qin Lan feel embarrassed and guilty.
Qin Lan doesn't like people she doesn't like confessing their love to her, because she believes that love is a particularly noble sentiment that deserves respect and not be tarnished. This means that she has to play the role of a sinner, committing crimes and hurting others, which she dislikes and is extremely troubled by.
But liking someone and being troubled is one thing, rejecting someone is another, and all she can do is say sorry.
"Do you agree? Are you willing to be my girlfriend, Fatty?" The fat man looked at Qin Lan and confessed again.
Qin Lan bent down and gave a standard 90-degree bow, and said firmly: "I'm sorry! Fatty, I think we can only be the best teammates or friends!"
She was hesitant because she and Fatty were in the same team. If she rejected Fatty outright, she thought their future meetings would be awkward. But the truth was, if you didn't like someone, you had to reject them cleanly. Otherwise, you'd end up hurting yourself and others.
The fact that her hesitation led to the fat man's repeated misunderstandings is the best proof, isn't it?
Seeing Qin Lan reject the fat guy, I walked up to him with a serious face and said to him with a hint of reprimand: "Fatty, now is not the time to talk about love. The most important thing now is how to get out alive!"
The fat man finally came to his senses and stopped being in a trance. But then he suddenly glared at me, grabbed my collar, and said, "Why? What gives you the right to say that to me? I really like Qin Lan! Look at you, you coward! Take a piss and look at yourself. Will Qin Lan choose you?"
I was completely confused by the fat man's sudden words and looked bewildered.
The fat man was irritated by my demeanor and without a word, punched me in the face. I hadn't expected him to hit me and didn't react for a moment until the burning pain on my face came.
"Who the hell do you think you are? Do you think you're the only one who likes Qin Lan and I don't?" The fat man spat, "Bah! Damn you, you're a coward who dares to think but not to do!"
