Inside the surveillance room on the second floor of the jewelry store.
The surveillance footage was reflected in Hoshino Aoi's dark eyes.
Each scene is like a silent movie.
"Except for this person, no one else should know my identity, right?"
Aoi Hoshino stretched out her hand, and with her fingertips wrapped in white gloves, she tapped the screen lightly twice. No sound was made, but it still attracted the attention of the people around her.
"Don't worry, no one else knows except him."
The person who spoke wore a pair of black square-framed sunglasses. He was tall and had a slightly square chin. He looked very similar to Vodka in the anime. Although Hoshino Aoi had some guesses in her mind, she did not show them on the surface. Instead, she continued to ask calmly:
"That's good. By the way, the scapegoat should have been found by now, right?"
"Of course, the Dongji Society has had some problems recently. The leader passed away, and the young master who was supposed to succeed him was thrown into prison by the second-in-command. So... that person is very anxious to get out."
Even when the organization contacted him, he didn't even ask any questions and directly agreed to the organization's request.
The man shrugged and smiled somewhat smugly.
"As for the person who knows about your connection to the organization, you don't need to worry. According to the plan we discussed earlier, we have already made all the arrangements. In the end, he will either be killed by a police sniper or by someone we have arranged. In any case, he will definitely not have the chance to reveal your identity."
Hoshino Aoi didn't say anything else.
Her eyes swept across the group of people in the surveillance footage who were tied up, huddled together and shivering, and lingered for a moment on the man who had collapsed to the ground in despair.
Hoshino Aoi originally thought that she would not care, but when she really saw this scene, her heart still trembled. She inexplicably felt as if something suddenly fell to the ground. Although it did not break, it looked different from before.
But soon, she suppressed the emotion that shouldn't have appeared.
"That's good. Next, remember to leave through the back door as soon as possible. Otherwise, when the police arrive, I can't guarantee that you will be able to leave here safely."
After saying this, Aoi Hoshino gave him a look, indicating that he could contact the robber who knew her identity. Then, without waiting for him to speak, she took off the white gloves in her hand, casually stuffed them into the man's shirt pocket, and then left the monitoring room first.
The man frowned slightly, looking a little unhappy with her attitude, but he still followed her instructions and contacted the insider outside.
Ding-ding—
The man, who had his headset hidden in a black hood, heard the command from the other side. He first casually tapped the headset twice in response, then walked towards one of the robbers and said hesitantly:
"Boss, have you noticed...that our number seems to be decreasing?"
The leader of the robbers also noticed something was wrong and looked around:
"The few people I just arranged to look for that woman haven't returned yet. I'm afraid something has happened. Take two people with you to check on the situation."
As he spoke, his eyes suddenly became sinister:
"In short, today's work can only succeed, not fail."
"yes."
The man nodded and called two people to go out with him to look for someone.
As expected, there was no one in the bathroom.
However, just as they were about to leave, the man suddenly attacked, causing the two unsuspecting people to lose consciousness in an instant.
"Pah-pah-pah-"
“Well done.”
The person hiding in the corner clapped his hands and slowly walked out of the darkness.
"How many people are left outside now?"
Hoshino Aoi asked.
"There are three people left."
There were a total of ten people involved in this operation, including him and another adult in the organization.
After removing the two of them, three of the remaining eight people had been dealt with in advance, and the other two had just been dealt with by him.
As the man spoke, he glanced around. Seeing that the leader from the organization did not come out with her, he narrowed his eyes slightly and cast a slightly scrutinizing gaze on the woman in front of him.
"Why are you alone outside? Where is that adult?"
"He's already waiting for you at the back door. As for here..."
Hoshino Aoi said without changing her expression:
"Anyway, you should have received a code name after completing this mission, so this is just a preview of the benefits of a code name member. I believe that with your abilities, even if they're not watching over you, you shouldn't mess up this mission, right?"
"Of course."
When the man heard the woman in front of him say that he was about to get a code name, he was delighted and the uneasiness he had just felt was instantly thrown behind him.
"It's just asking the police to release the young master of the Dongji Society. I believe the police should know the best way to do it."
As the man spoke, he felt a little more relaxed, but he was still a little hesitant, so he whispered tentatively:
"I'm just a little worried that I won't be able to leave smoothly afterwards."
He actually didn't know the true identity of the woman in front of him. He only knew that his actions today were all to cooperate with her and that adult.
However, from the fact that she could speak of that adult so calmly and knew in advance that he was about to get a code name, the man could also see that her status in the organization was not low, and might even be higher than that adult.
