Chapter 117 Women's Medical University Hospital

Late night, 1:00 a.m.

It was late at night outside Tokyo Women's Medical University Hospital.

Under the dim light of the street lamp, there was dead silence on the narrow cobblestone road, with only a red dot looming.

The black shadow walked out of the alley, put out the cigarette butt in the iron box, put it in his pocket, and walked towards the main entrance.

The security guard was out on patrol, and the person on duty yawned and went to the toilet.

In the blind spot of the camera, a dark figure walked evenly, climbing over the gate as if no one was there.

Everything is calculated.

In the hall, the young nurse on duty was sleeping soundly on the table, exhausted.

A pair of hands picked up the blanket that had fallen on the ground and covered her with it. They then picked up the patient file on the table and looked through it, then put it down after a while.

Da... Da... Da...

In the empty corridor, the heels of leather shoes and the tiles echoed like an ethereal and pleasant song.

The policeman who was dozing off and sitting outside the ward suddenly woke up. Before he could see who was coming, everything went dark before his eyes and he collapsed into a chair.

Kerala....

The door of the ward was opened.

Under the bright moonlight, Kamikawa Minamio opened his eyes and his heart suddenly stopped!

A man in black wearing sunglasses was standing in front of the bed, looking at him dimly.

“You…you…”

His body was extremely weak, and Kamikawa Minamio was unable to utter a loud cry. He could only struggle to sit up.

"Shh..."

The man in black put his finger on his lips and gestured for silence.

He pulled out an MK23 pistol from his back, took out a silencer from his pocket, and slowly rotated it on the muzzle.

Under Kamikawa Minami's horrified gaze, the silencer was pressed against his forehead.

“No…don’t…”

“In....”

"the bleak mid winter...."

The man in black whispered softly.

"Amen..."

..................

"Yesterday, the Metropolitan Police Department uncovered a large-scale illegal drug smuggling case..."

"The main culprit, Kamikawa Minamio, was shot dead in the ward last night..."

The female host of Nichimi TV, Rena Mizunashi, stood outside the broadcast vehicle, holding a microphone and briefly introducing the case:

"The murderer avoided all cameras and left no trace..."

"The Metropolitan Police Department is now doing its utmost to track down the murderer."

"Let's turn the camera over to the only witness, the nurse on duty last night."

On TV, the picture slowly changed, and a cute and well-behaved nurse appeared in the camera.

"Excuse me, did you see the murderer's appearance last night?"

"What are his characteristics?"

The little nurse's cheeks were as red as apples, and she said shyly:

"He is a very gentle man..."

"They covered me with a blanket because they were afraid I would catch a cold..."

"He's a righteous hero!"

The scene turns back to the reporter at the front:

"Okay, now we know that the only witness was probably confused in his sleep and did not provide any useful information..."

Click!

A slender finger pressed the close button, and the picture disappeared from top to bottom.

Miyano Shiho held her phone, leaning on the sofa, her smooth feet resting on the coffee table, her toes trembling playfully:

"You heard it."

"They said you were a hero on TV."

A bitter laugh came from the other end of the phone:

"How do you know it was me?"

"Ah..."

Miyano Shiho's mouth corners slightly raised:

“It’s very simple.”

"You just solved the case this day, and the news hasn't been released yet, so it's impossible that it was an enemy who came to your house..."

"The only people who know the hospital Kamikawa Minamio is in are the Metropolitan Police Department and you..."

“Ahem…”

Sakaki Makoto cleared his throat, knowing that he couldn't fool the clever Miyano Shiho, so he quickly changed the subject:

"Let's not talk about this."

"When are you going to go shopping?"

"I still have to return the card to you..."

I'm afraid only the person involved knows how against his or her will this statement is.

"Tomorrow, then."

Miyano Shiho leaned on the armrest of the sofa, adopting the posture of a noble lady, holding her mobile phone, flipping through a fashion magazine, and said absentmindedly:

"It just so happens that the research institute is going to move soon, so there's nothing I can help with."

"Let me check the time..."

There was the sound of clothes rustling and papers shuffling:

"If there is no plan, I will pick you up tomorrow morning."

"Let's not talk about it for now. I got another call."

"goodbye."

Listening to the busy tone coming from the microphone, Miyano Shiho smiled silently:

"Well, bye..."

.............

On the train, Sakaki Makoto looked at the group of young and energetic female high school students gathered around him, frowned, and took two steps back.

The trams during the morning rush hour should be very congested, but today is a little special...

Why is it special?

On the huge tram, the only place where Makoto Sakaki was located was crowded, with a density of up to 3 people per square meter.

Without exception, they are all female creatures exuding a strong hormonal scent.

As for other places, they seem very empty in comparison.

Sakaki Makoto is hot...

He didn't know why, but even with sunglasses on, these people kept sticking to him like a dog-skin plaster that couldn't be shaken off.
