From a distance, Sakaki Makoto saw the orange, green, red and white sign of the 7-Eleven convenience store.
There were restaurants on the roadside, and the aroma coming from them was tempting, but Sakaki Makoto's wallet pulled him to take firm steps towards the convenience store.
Ding-a-ling....
"Welcome to seven eleven."
The clerk at the 7-Eleven convenience store was a pretty young lady with long brown hair tied in a ponytail and a gentle and considerate smile. She bowed deeply to Makoto Sakaki when he entered the store, but did not ask him any questions.
It’s not like the stores before you traveled through time, where as soon as you enter, the clerk will ask you what you want to buy, and then keep following you around to introduce it... blah blah blah, which is very annoying.
In convenience stores, there are areas for books, newspapers and comics, convenience food, beverages, and bento.
Glancing at the clock on the wall, it was almost ten o'clock. Most of the people coming and going in the convenience store were office workers who were tired after a long day.
Perhaps only the sweet smile of the shop assistant can soothe their tired hearts.
Sakaki Makoto walked straight to the bento area and looked at the remaining bentos.
Choice 1: Makuuchi Bento for 398 yen, including tempura, grilled salmon, hamburger meat, croquettes, eggs and grilled sausages.
Choice No. 2: Juicy fried chicken bento for 398 yen. The chicken is sliced into thin slices and fried in oil. It is tender and delicious, and topped with spicy powder and mayonnaise. It is cheap and affordable.
Choice No. 3: Charcoal-grilled beef bento for 498 yuan. The soft beef is topped with scallions and sprinkled with a little soy sauce, which is refreshing and fragrant.
Choice No. 4: The scallion and salt pork tenderloin bento is 368 yuan. The fragrant wheat rice is topped with neat pork tenderloin, paired with the fine salt poured during the grilling, and accompanied by a glass of beer. It is simply a delicacy.
In addition to this, there are many other options, but you don’t have to choose at all!
The Makuuchi bento is such a bargain!
For less than 400 yen, you can enjoy a variety of delicious foods and replenish the amino acids and proteins needed by the human body. It is really good news for the hungry!
The most important thing is that it’s already past ten o’clock and there’s a half-price label on the lunch box!
199 yen!
Is there any price more tempting than this!
Without hesitation, Sakaki Makoto picked up a box of Makuuchi bento, walked to the beverage area to get a bottle of oolong tea for 120 yen, and then went to the convenience food area to pick up a few buckets of instant noodles as tomorrow's food.
On the shelves, Nissin instant noodles account for the majority.
Demae Iccho, Chicken Noodles, Soy Sauce Ramen...
Apart from Nissin, the best-selling ramen is Sanyo Sapporo Ichiban Miso Flavored Ramen.
There's only one bag left on the shelf.
Among these instant noodles, Makoto Sakaki had eaten Demae Iccho, and had only heard of the others.
After a slight hesitation, he picked up two bags of Demae Iccho, a bag of Sanyo Sapporo, and four eggs.
Instant noodles without eggs have no soul.
Coming to the counter, Sakaki put the things down and said, "These, plus a pack of camel double."
Compared to Japan's Seven Stars, Makoto Sakaki prefers the Camel with Double Explosive Balls.
"Hey, I see."
The saleslady smiled, took a pack of cigarettes from behind her, and started entering the goods into the cash register with a barcode scanner.
"The total is 949 yen."
Sakaki Makoto took out the only remaining Noguchi Hideyo from his wallet and handed it over without hesitation.
"51 yen for you. May I ask..."
The store clerk looked up and asked: "Do you want to heat up the bento?"
"Well, that's troublesome."
It is common for Japanese people to heat up their purchased bento in the convenience store's microwave oven, which not only saves electricity but also saves trouble.
Sakaki Makoto lowered his gaze and glanced at the shop assistant's chest.
Nanami Aoyama.
Nice name.
The lunch box was spinning in the microwave while Makoto Sakaki stood there bored, staring at the clock on the wall.
Ding-a-ling...
The store door opened and a masked man carrying a sack and holding a gun walked in.
"Don't move! Robbery!"
"ah!!!"
Screams immediately rose in the convenience store, and the criminal shouted excitedly: "Shut up! Shut up!"
"I'll shoot anyone who screams again!"
The convenience store immediately fell silent.
"Hold your head and squat! Everyone!"
At the gangster's command, everyone slowly put their heads in their hands.
"You! Take all the money out of the cash register!"
The gangster pointed the gun viciously at Nanami Aoyama and handed the sack in his hand to her.
Nanami Aoyama could only do as she was told and put the money from the cash register into the sack little by little, two tears flowing silently.
The convenience store was robbed while she was on duty, and she was undoubtedly responsible. Even if she was not required to pay compensation, losing her job was inevitable...
This is a job she found with great difficulty...
She still has to pay her tuition this year...
The criminal suddenly realized that Sakaki Makoto beside him did not squat down, but kept looking up at the clock. He immediately became furious: "You! Hold your head and squat down!"
"Don't scream."
Sakaki glanced at him and said, "One more minute."
"One minute? What one minute?" The gangster was stunned. He never expected that even though he had a gun, the other party dared to be so arrogant.
"I told you to squat down, didn't you hear me?!"
The criminal pointed the gun at Sakaki Makoto.
Sakaki turned around and looked at him expressionlessly: "Your hands are shaking, and your eyes are full of fear and tension."
"This must be your first robbery."
