"Brother....Please hold on for a while, I will drive very fast..."
At the back door of the institute, Vodka was driving a Porsche 356a. His hands trembling as he gripped the steering wheel, he directly pushed open the iron gate and wanted to go to the organization's hospital.
The hospital is not far from the research institute. With his driving skills, it will take at most 10 minutes... Gin lay silently on the passenger seat. His coat had been completely dyed red by blood. The strong smell of blood filled the car, and even his long silver hair had lost its luster.
There was a loud explosion behind him, followed by flames shooting into the sky. Vodka glanced in the rearview mirror and knew that the research institute had been breached, but he still didn't care and stepped on the accelerator frantically, making the old car under him roar again.
"Brother... please say something... you must not fall asleep... if you fall asleep everything will be over..."
Vodka's eyes were red, and he shouted crazily:
"Gin, open your eyes!!!"
Gin still didn't respond. He closed his eyes peacefully, quietly, like a dead doll.
Suddenly, a group of lights appeared in front of them. At the end of the narrow road, a row of police cars were blocking their way with dazzling lights.
“Haha…hahaha…brother, did you see that? Now even the cops dare to bully us…”
Seeing this scene, Vodka's heart was completely chilled. He gritted his teeth and instead of stopping the car, he sped up again:
“Come on!!!”
Without any complicated schemes or additional planning, Vodka took the most reckless and crazy action like a hungry wolf forced to the edge of a cliff.
He resolutely crashed into the blockade, trying to break through the thick barrier formed by dozens of police cars. He had no time to waste. Once he stopped, he would definitely not be able to reach the hospital within 10 minutes.
The Porsche 356a, with a desperate momentum, crashed into the police car in front, but... with a puff, a spike that spanned the entire road punctured the four tires of the Porsche 356a. The car body instantly lost balance, twisted and hit a big tree on the side, and broke down instantly.
The old car was unable to turn the tide at the critical moment. In the exploded airbag, Vodka was in a daze and had tinnitus. He vaguely saw countless gun-wielding figures surrounding the Porsche 356a. He pulled out his gun, forgetting even to turn on the safety, and pulled the trigger at the figures.
Click... Click... The hammer didn't fall at all, and the bullet didn't fire, but Vodka still continued this action mechanically. The police officers surrounding the car looked at each other, stepped forward, snatched his pistol, and dragged him out of the car.
“Vodka….”
Perhaps it was because of the vibration of the airbag, or perhaps it was a last breath, Gin opened his eyes, the reflection of the red and blue police lights flashing in his pupils. He subconsciously pulled out the Beretta M92F from his waist, shot a police officer down, and shouted:
"Vodka! Vodka! Where's your bomb?!"
The familiar call seemed to awaken Vodka's remaining consciousness. He had suffered a severe concussion and was unable to recognize any external sounds. All his actions were almost muscle reactions controlled by his subconscious. He broke free from the police officers and took out the last plastic bomb, waiting for his big brother's order, and he would detonate it without hesitation.
But Gin suddenly fell silent. He did not continue to convey orders, nor was he able to convey orders.
A bullet came from a distance and hit him accurately between the eyebrows. Gin stepped back a few steps and bumped into the car with a thud. Looking at the figure walking towards him, the light in his eyes gradually faded.
Subaru Okiya approached with a warm pistol in hand and tentatively sniffed Gin's breath:
"Target, Gin... confirmed dead."
The police officers breathed a sigh of relief, and their tense bodies finally relaxed. At first, they didn't know the inside story about Gin, their number one enemy. It was not until the FBI pointed out that Gin was the mastermind behind many unsolved cases that they realized how terrible Gin was.
Now that Gin is dead, they can finally sleep well at night.
"Mr. Okiya, what about him?"
Hearing the reminder, Subaru Okiya turned his head and saw Vodka holding a plastic bomb, standing there stiffly with a dull look in his eyes, muttering something.
Raising his hand to signal the police officer to calm down, Subaru Okiya walked over, and when he got closer he heard... "Brother...Brother, you go first...I'll stop the cops..."
"Although you are loyal, you have also done many evil things, Vodka."
Subaru Okiya raised his pistol and pointed it at Vodka's chest. Just as he was about to shoot, a voice suddenly came from behind him:
"It is not gentlemanly behavior to shoot an unarmed person."
"Ms. Yukiko, he is not unarmed."
"It's just a piece of dynamite without a detonator. How did he set it off? With his teeth?"
Yukiko Kudo pulled a little girl in a black raincoat forward and held down the muzzle of Okiya Subaru's gun:
"He's unconscious, so what's wrong with giving him a chance to live?"
Okiya Subaru hesitated for a moment and put away his gun. Kudo Yukiko was right. Once Gin was dead, vodka would be useless. With his intelligence, he couldn't even beat Megure Juzo. What was there to be afraid of the FBI?
"They must have escaped from the institute. We are too late."
Okiya Subaru said with a serious expression:
"The institute must be full of enemies now. They have taken over all the data. Once we launch an attack, it will be a fierce battle. The probability of obtaining the data is not high. It is likely to lead them to desperate actions and a head-on confrontation. It is not worth it..."
