Chapter 812 Unexpected Visitors

“Are all demons masters of psychology?”

On the way to the top of the mountain, Kidd suddenly asked:

"I feel like you're a demon now, but without the horns on your head."

"Swearing is not a good habit."

"I'm not cursing, I'm just telling the truth."

“Tsk….”

Sakaki smacked his lips and glared at him:

"Did I do anything?"

"Anger that has been suppressed for a long time will explode sooner or later. The sooner it explodes, the less negative impact it will have."

"I'm helping him."

"It's a farce."

"If you say so, then so..."

Shrugging his shoulders, Makoto Sakaki stopped discussing the issue of the devil's whispers with Kidd.

They jumped onto a wooden bridge again and came to the back side of the mountain top, from where they could overlook most of the swamp and even the Baskerville Manor in the distance.

Here, there is also a stone house.

The stone house was pitch black inside, blending completely into the night. The moss covering it was lush and green, and no matter how you looked at it, it didn't look like anyone lived there.

However...

Watson walked up and knocked on the door directly.

No response.

The next second, Watson pushed open the door and raised the kerosene lamp to illuminate the gloomy and damp room.

Inside the messy stone house, a piece of rainproof cloth wrapped around several blankets were spread flat on a large stone slab. At the head of the bed, there was a crude circular pit surrounded by stones. In the pit, there was some charcoal that had not yet burned out and was still emitting sparks. On the table next to it were some kitchen utensils, half a bucket of water, and a mess of empty cans.

There are signs that...

There are people living here.

“Just like what’s written in the book…”

Conan looked at the house in surprise and said excitedly:

"It must be where Sherlock Holmes lives!"

“Look!”

Sawada Hiroki found a notebook on the table with the following scribbled words on it:

"Dr. Watson was at Coombe Tracy."

"Yes, it is indeed Sherlock Holmes's handwriting."

Watson nodded. He couldn't find a place to stay for a while, so he could only put the two hunting rifles on his shoulders against the corner of the wall, then picked up a few remaining firewood and threw them into the campfire:

"It is very strange. Where would Holmes go if he did not stay in the house in such a heavy rain?"

Sakaki Makoto checked the stone house. The dusty house was filled with clear footprints, one row of which led directly to the stone bed.

So Sakaki Makoto walked to the stone bed, touched the blanket, and found that it was still slightly warm. He immediately made a judgment:

"Holmes is nearby."

As soon as he finished speaking, footsteps were heard outside the stone house.

"I was wondering, Watson, when you would arrive."

Before the other party even approached the stone house, he had already guessed the identities of Sakaki Makoto and his companions. His tone was somewhat frivolous, as if he was talking to a friend:

"It's raining so hard, I don't know if you brought an umbrella, otherwise everyone would be soaked."

As Conan watched excitedly, a thin figure appeared outside the stone house. He took off his dripping deerstalker hat, revealing a handsome face, and said with a smile:

"Nice to meet you. I'm Sherlock Holmes. I've been waiting for you for a long time."

...............

"He is indeed Sherlock Holmes."

Deya whispered in Sakaki Makoto's ear:

"I have met him, but why did he say he had been waiting for a long time? It is obvious that he did not know Professor Moriarty's plan..."

"A man as smart as him would surely be alert."

Sakaki Makoto replied calmly:

"He has been dealing with Professor Moriarty for a long time, and they are very familiar with each other."

Sherlock Holmes, the god of detectives who lives in novels, is known as the light of the times.

First day meeting...

Makoto Sakaki discovered that the other person looked exactly like Kudo Yusaku. He had expected this. After all, Watson was created according to Dr. Agasa's model. On second thought, it was normal that Kudo Yusaku was the prototype of Sherlock Holmes.

but...

Unlike the gentle Kudo Yusaku, the Holmes in the game has a more elegant temperament, his eyes are full of confidence, and he has a sharp feeling.

"Holmes, I'm so glad you're okay!"

Watson hurried forward:

"This is Mr. Sakaki Makoto and his friends. They told me that Professor Moriarty was going to attack you, so I came to protect your safety."

"Don't be so nervous, Watson. I want to have a glass of wine to warm myself up before we talk about anything."

Holmes raised the red wine in his hand. No one knew where he got it from.

"Please take a seat. Although there are no chairs, I think there is always a way to solve it."

Conan ran up to him with a look of admiration on his face, and was so excited that he was possessed by Takagi Wataru:

"Holmes, I'm your fan, can you sign an autograph for me?"

"Of course, but please wait until I have a drink."

As he spoke, Holmes sat down on the stone bed, skillfully picked up a wooden cup from the table, pulled out the cork, poured red wine into the cup, and drank it all in one gulp.

Then he took out a pencil from his pocket, wrote "Sherlock Holmes" on the notebook, tore it off and handed it to Conan.

The action was done in one go, obviously not the first time.

"Technically speaking, Professor James Moriarty is half my teacher, because I was tutored by him when I was young and entered Christ Church College, Oxford, just like this friend lying in the stroller."

Holmes glanced at Jack the Ripper and said meaningfully:

"You must be wondering how I knew that Professor Moriarty was going to harm me, right?"

"It's actually very simple. Professor Moriarty has a spy next to me, and I also have a friend next to him. Um... to be precise, the other party is my junior, who has the same skin color as you."

"He was the one who told me about Professor Moriarty's plan and asked me to be careful. Oh, by the way, he is outside. Why doesn't he come in? You should be happy to see your companions in a foreign country."

Boom!

Amidst the lightning and thunder, a square-faced middle-aged man who looked to be about 30 years old walked into the stone house. He was wearing a standard kimono, with a long sword on his waist and a sharp look in his eyes.

"Senior Holmes, I've already said that Professor Moriarty must not know about this."

"What does it matter? They are sworn enemies of Professor Moriarty and will never betray you."

Holmes smiled and said:

"Please introduce yourself to everyone."

The square-faced young man looked at the bewildered Sakaki Makoto and his companions, hesitated for a moment, bowed deeply, and said in standard Japanese:

"Nice to meet you. My name is Karasuma Renya. I'm an international student from Japan. I'm 31 years old. Thank you for your guidance."
