Professor Moriarty took a sip of the ale and was a little confused:

Professor Moriarty grinned, a dangerous light flashed in his eyes, and he straightened up, from an old man on the verge of death, to Professor Moriarty who informed the underground world:
"What good will it do you to go against me?"
"Is profit the only thing that can drive you in this world?"
"But you should consider your own interests first!"
Professor Moriarty sneered:
“Even if you don’t benefit yourself, you must still consider whether the interests of others will be harmed, otherwise those whose interests are harmed will become your stumbling blocks!”
"But Lianye abandoned me, her teacher, and turned to you..."
"What kind of magic did you use to make them follow you regardless of their lives? Money? Power?"
Professor Moriarty kept tapping the ground with his cane as he asked questions that puzzled him.
He has lived his whole life in desire, money, and power. He knows what most people want, but there are always some people...
He cannot be deceived.
For example, Sherlock Holmes.
Professor Moriarty knew why Holmes rejected him, but he didn't know why Karasuma Renya helped Sakaki Makoto.
"You claim to understand human nature, but you don't know that your so-called understanding is limited to so-called desires, that is, bestiality."
Sakaki Makoto narrowed his eyes and played with his revolver:
"People are called human because they understand shame and understand the human nature that transcends animal nature."
