Ran Mouri speculated, "Perhaps there's a deeper story behind this."

Ai Haibara nodded in agreement: "I'll go look up the relevant information."
After some effort, Ai Haibara discovered some important clues in an ancient document.
“The owner of this castle was once a mad scientist who was said to be conducting research on the ability to control people’s minds,” Ai Haibara said.
Conan frowned: "Could this be related to the cases we've encountered before?"
Kimura pondered for a moment and said, "It's possible. Perhaps that mysterious organization is also coveting this research result."
Just then, Conan received an anonymous letter. The letter mentioned an address and warned them that if they wanted to know more about the truth, they had to go there.

The group arrived at the address mentioned in the letter, which was an abandoned research institute.

Conan crept closer, trying to hear what the mysterious person was saying.
Suddenly, the mysterious man noticed Conan's presence and turned to run away.
"Don't run!" Conan shouted.
The group gave chase, but the mysterious man weaved through the research institute, trying to shake them off.
Finally, the mysterious man ran into a room and closed the door.
Conan and the others arrived and forcefully pushed open the door.
The room was filled with smoke, and when the smoke cleared, they found that the mysterious man was gone.
"How could this be?" Ran Mouri exclaimed in surprise.
Conan carefully observed the room and discovered a vent.
"He must have escaped from here," Conan said.
They continued their search within the research institute and discovered some more important clues.
“It seems that this research institute has a close relationship with the owner of that castle,” Ai Haibara said.
“But we haven’t found the key evidence yet,” Lin Yu said.
Just as they were about to leave the research institute, Conan discovered a safe hidden in a corner.
“This safe might contain what we’re looking for,” Conan said.
However, the safe requires a password to open.
Everyone fell into deep thought, racking their brains to figure out what the password might be.
"Could it be related to the castle owner's birthday?" Kimura asked.
Conan tried entering the castle owner's birthday, but the safe didn't open.
“Could that be the date the castle was completed?” Ran Mouri said.
Conan entered the information again, but the safe still didn't respond.
Just when everyone was at a loss, Conan suddenly remembered the strange symbols he had seen in the castle.
"Perhaps the code is just a combination of those symbols," Conan said.
