Chapter 159 "A Glimmer of Hope in Despair" (2.0)

Conan and his friends struggled through the valley, everyone exhausted, but their eyes remained filled with determination.

After walking for a long time, they finally found a cave.

"Let's hide inside for a while," Conan said.

The group entered the cave, which was dark and damp, but at least they could temporarily escape the dangers outside.

Ran Mouri leaned against the cave wall, her face somewhat pale.

"Sister Ran, are you alright?" Conan asked with concern.

Ran Mouri forced a smile: "I'm fine, just a little tired."

Lin Yu looked around the cave and found some dry branches.

"Maybe we can start a fire to warm ourselves up," Lin Yu said.

Nightshade and Ai Haibara helped collect branches, while Conan lit the campfire with his lighter.

The firelight illuminated the cave, and everyone sat around the campfire, their bodies gradually warming up.

"What should we do next?" Ai Haibara asked.

Conan pondered for a moment: "We need to find a way to contact the police and get their support."

Lin Yu shook his head: "But there is no signal here, so our communication equipment cannot be used."

Nightshade said, "Then we can only find a way to get out of this predicament ourselves, find evidence of the 'Shadow Alliance,' and wipe them out in one fell swoop."

Just then, the sound of animals came from outside the cave.

"Everyone be careful, there might be wild animals," Conan warned.

The group picked up their weapons and stared nervously at the cave entrance.

After a while, an injured little fox ran in, with some blood on its body.

Ran Mouri looked at the little fox with heartache: "It looks like it's injured."

Ai Haibara examined the little fox's wounds: "They're just some superficial injuries; it must have been attacked by another animal."

They bandaged the little fox's wounds, and the little fox looked at them gratefully.

Perhaps sensing their kindness, the little fox did not leave, but stayed in the cave.

The next morning, Conan and the others decided to continue their search for a way out.

The little fox led the way, seemingly wanting to help them.

They followed the little fox for a long time, and finally emerged from the valley.

“Thank you, little fox,” Ran Mouri said.

The little fox wagged its tail, turned around, and ran back into the forest.

They arrived in a small town, and in a small shop, Conan found a public telephone.

"Finally, we can contact the police!" Conan said excitedly.

He called the police and explained the situation to them.

Police said they would send reinforcements as soon as possible.

While waiting for police support, Conan and his friends continued their investigation into clues about the "Shadow Alliance" in the town.

They discovered that there were some suspicious individuals in the town who seemed to be connected to the "Shadow Alliance".

"We must proceed with caution and avoid alerting them," Conan said.

They discreetly followed the suspicious individuals to an abandoned warehouse.

A heated argument erupted from inside the warehouse.

"This operation failed because of your mistakes!"

"Stop blaming each other, let's think about how to fix this."

Conan and the others hid outside the warehouse, eavesdropping on the conversation inside.

“Looks like we’ve found the right place,” Nightshade said.

Just as they were preparing to take further action, police backup arrived.

"Great, let's rush in together!" Conan said.

They stormed into the warehouse with the police and subdued everyone inside.

After a thorough interrogation, they finally obtained crucial evidence and information about the Shadow Alliance's operational plans.

"This time we can finally wipe them out completely," Lin Yu said.

However, what they didn't know was that the true leader of the "Shadow Alliance" was still at large and was plotting an even more terrifying conspiracy...
