Conan and his friends engaged in a fierce battle with the man in black, neither side giving an inch.
The man in black robes was extremely agile and his moves were unpredictable, making it difficult for Conan and his friends to gain the upper hand for a while.
"Watch out for his moves!" Conan warned his companions while dealing with the attacks from the man in black.
Ran Mouri used her karate skills to try to break through the black-robed man's defenses, but each time the black-robed man skillfully dodged or neutralized her attacks.
Night Shadow searched for weaknesses in the black-robed man's defenses, while Lin Yu used his high-tech equipment to launch long-range attacks, attempting to distract him.
Ai Haibara, meanwhile, was nervously observing the situation and thinking of a solution.
"This can't go on, we have to attack together!" Conan shouted.
Upon hearing this, everyone nodded and began to cooperate even more closely.
Ran Mouri draws the black-robed man's frontal attack, Nightshade launches a surprise attack from the side, Lin Yu seizes the opportunity to fire a powerful electric current, and Conan takes the chance to rush towards the black-robed man, trying to find his weakness.
With everyone working together, the man in black robes gradually slowed down, revealing a weakness.
Conan seized the opportunity and kicked the man in black in the abdomen. The man in black cried out in pain and took a few steps back.
"Now!" Conan shouted.
The crowd swarmed forward and launched a final attack on the man in black.
However, the man in black robes did not give up easily. He suddenly unleashed a powerful force, repelling everyone.
"You think you can defeat me like this? How naive!" the man in black sneered.
Conan wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth and said, "No matter how strong you are, we will not back down!"
Just then, Ai Haibara discovered the black-robed man's weakness.
"Attack his back!" Ai Haibara shouted.
The group launched another attack, this time focusing their efforts on the black-robed man's back.
The man in black robes tried to resist, but ultimately could not withstand the combined attack of the group.
"Ah!" The man in black robes screamed and fell to the ground.
"Finally defeated him!" Lin Yu breathed a sigh of relief.
Without taking a break, everyone rushed to the device controlling the experiment.
Just as they were about to destroy the device, it suddenly activated its self-protection mechanism, releasing a powerful energy wave.
"Watch out!" Conan shouted.
Everyone was knocked to the ground by the energy wave.
"What should we do?" Ran Mouri said anxiously.
Conan stood up and examined the device: "There must be a way to shut it down."
Just then, a password input interface appeared on the device.
"It seems I need to enter the correct password to close it," Nightshade said.
Conan began to ponder the possible codes, recalling the various clues he had discovered in the manor.
"Could it be a date mentioned in that diary?" Ai Haibara said.
Conan tried entering a date, but it was incorrect.
The device emitted a warning sound, indicating that another incorrect input would trigger an explosion.
Everyone's hearts were in their throats again.
“Think again, Conan!” Ran Mouri said.
Conan calmed down and carefully recalled every detail of the manor.
Suddenly, he thought of the man's eyes in the portrait, which seemed to hide some kind of hint.
"Perhaps it has something to do with that man," Conan said.
After some thought, Conan entered a password related to men.
This time, the device emitted a buzzing sound and then stopped working.
"We did it!" Lin Yu exclaimed excitedly.
Just when they thought the crisis was over, a new change occurred at the manor.
The walls began to collapse, and cracks appeared in the ground.
"Oh no, this manor is about to collapse!" Nightshade shouted.
"Everyone, run outside!" Conan shouted.
Amid the chaos, everyone ran toward the exit.
Along the way, rocks kept falling, making their escape extremely difficult.
Ran Mouri was accidentally hit on the leg by a rock and fell to the ground.
"Ran-neechan!" Conan turned around and ran back to help Ran Mouri up.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me, run!" Ran Mouri said.
"No, we won't abandon you!" Conan said firmly.
Lin Yu and Ye Ying also ran back to help.
Together, they helped Ran Mori along as they continued their arduous journey.
Finally, they escaped through the exit before the manor completely collapsed.
"That was close!" Lin Yu collapsed to the ground.
Looking at the manor now in ruins, everyone was filled with mixed emotions.
"Although it was very dangerous, we still succeeded," Ai Haibara said.
"Yes, but what exactly is hidden behind this still needs further investigation," Conan said.
Just then, a car pulled up, and a mysterious person got out.
"Congratulations on passing the test," the mysterious man said.
"A test? What's going on here?" Conan asked.
The mysterious man smiled: "This is to select the true heroes who can protect this city. I am very satisfied with your performance."
"But why use such a dangerous method?" Ran Mouri asked.
The mysterious man said, "Because the impending crisis requires people with enough courage and wisdom to face it."
"What crisis?" Nightshade asked.
The mysterious man handed Conan a file folder: "This contains the information you need. Go back and study it carefully, and prepare for the new challenge."
After saying that, the mysterious man got into his car and left.
Conan and the others, carrying the document bag, also embarked on their journey home.
