After successfully solving the case of the missing artifacts, Conan and his friends returned to a peaceful life. However, this peace did not last long.

"Who are you? Why did you invite us here?" Conan asked.
The man in black smiled and said, "Don't worry, children, you'll find out soon enough. Sit down and let me explain."
After everyone sat down, the man in black robes began to tell a shocking story.
It turns out that this castle was once the dwelling place of an evil wizard. The wizard conducted a terrible experiment here, attempting to open a passage to another world and gain immense power. But the experiment failed, and the castle was cursed, plunging into eternal darkness.
“And recently, some strange signs have appeared in the castle, as if the curse is about to be lifted and that passage may reopen,” the man in black said.
"What does this have to do with us?" Kogoro Mouri asked.
The man in black looked at Conan and said, "I believe that only you, Conan, can solve this mystery and prevent the disaster from happening."
Conan frowned: "Why me?"
The man in black robes did not answer, but instead handed Conan an ancient book containing information about the castle's history and the wizard's experiments.
"You have three days. In these three days, you must find a way to lift the curse, or the consequences will be unimaginable." After saying this, the man in black robes disappeared.
Conan and his friends begin their investigation inside the castle. They discover that the castle is full of mechanisms and puzzles, and every room hides a secret.
