For a period of time after the Black Organization was completely defeated, Conan, Lin Yu, and Ai Haibara lived relatively peaceful lives. However, this peace did not last long.
One day, on his way home from school, Conan suddenly sensed that someone was following him. He quickened his pace without making a sound, trying to shake off his pursuer, but the other person kept up.
"Could they be remnants of the Black Organization?" Conan thought to himself, on high alert.
He turned into a narrow alley and, using his familiarity with the terrain, hid in a corner to observe. He saw a strange man lingering at the alley entrance, looking around.
Conan decided to take the initiative. He quietly circled behind the man and suddenly asked, "Who are you? Why are you following me?"
The man was startled and turned around, looking flustered. "I...I was just following orders."
"On orders? On whose orders?" Conan stared intently at him.
The man hesitated for a moment before finally speaking, "It's a mysterious organization. They've been very active in Tokyo lately, and it seems they're planning something."
Conan realized the seriousness of the situation and immediately contacted Lin Yu and Ai Haibara.
"Looks like there's new trouble." Lin Yu said.
"We must find out the purpose of this mysterious organization as soon as possible." Ai Haibara frowned.
They began gathering clues from various sources. Lin Yu used his hacking skills to infiltrate databases that might be related to the mysterious organization; Ai Haibara analyzed and studied the information provided by the man; and Conan searched for clues in the streets and alleys.
After much effort, they discovered that this mysterious organization was conducting a dangerous biological experiment, attempting to create a virus that could control human minds.
"This is terrifying. If they succeed, the consequences will be unimaginable," Conan said.
In order to gather more intelligence, they decided to infiltrate the laboratory of the mysterious organization.
One night, they quietly arrived at the building where the laboratory was located.
"Be careful, security here is very tight," Lin Yu warned.
They evaded the patrolling security guards and successfully entered the laboratory.
The laboratory was filled with various complex instruments and experimental samples, and Conan and his friends carefully searched for useful information.
Just then, they heard footsteps.
"Hide!" Conan whispered.
They quickly hid behind a row of cabinets.
Two scientists in white coats walked in, discussing the progress of their experiment.
"If we had more time, this virus could have been eradicated."
"But be careful of those who are nosy."
Conan and his friends grew increasingly anxious as they listened.
After the scientists left, they continued their search for clues.
Finally, Lin Yu found an important file on a computer.
"Found it! Here are their experimental data and plans."
Just as they were about to leave, an alarm was triggered.
"Oh no, we've been discovered!"
Members of the mysterious organization quickly surrounded them, and Conan and his friends found themselves in a predicament.
"Let's fight them!" Lin Yu picked up a stick, ready to fight.
Conan, meanwhile, calmly considered his options.
"Don't act rashly, let's look for an opportunity to break through."
During the fierce fight, Ai Haibara was accidentally injured.
"Haibara!" Conan shouted.
"I'm fine, don't worry about me, you guys go!" Ai Haibara said.
Conan and Lin Yu refused to give up, and they fought desperately to protect Ai Haibara.
Just when they were feeling desperate, the police arrived in time.
"Put down your weapons, you are surrounded!" Inspector Megure's voice rang out.
Seeing that things were not going well, the members of the mysterious organization scattered and fled.
Conan and his friends finally breathed a sigh of relief.
"We owe this to the police," Lin Yu said.
“But this mysterious organization has not been completely eliminated, so we cannot let our guard down,” Conan said.
With the evidence they had gathered, they continued their in-depth investigation of the mysterious organization alongside the police, determined to eradicate it completely and safeguard the peace and tranquility of the city.
