Conan and his friends decide to seek out the butler to uncover the secret of the treasure. They search everywhere in the castle, but they can't find the butler anywhere.
"Where has this butler gone?" Ran Mouri asked anxiously.
While observing the surrounding environment, Lin Yu said, "Everyone, don't rush. Let's think carefully about where he might go."
Ai Haibara calmly analyzed, "Perhaps he's in some secret room in the castle."
Just then, Conan noticed some strange footprints on the ground, which led towards the castle's attic.
“Let’s go check out the attic,” Conan said.
They carefully climbed the stairs to the attic, which was filled with clutter and had an old, worn feel.
"Be careful, there might be a trap here," Conan warned everyone.
Suddenly, a dark figure flashed past them from behind.
"Who?" Ran Mouri turned around alertly.
Conan quickly gave chase and saw the dark figure disappear into a room.
They rushed into the room and found the housekeeper standing by the window, holding a box in his hand.
"Butler, what are you doing?" Conan questioned.
The butler's face darkened as he said, "You shouldn't meddle in other people's business. This treasure is not for you to touch."
Lin Yu stepped forward and said, "We just want to break the castle's curse and save everyone."
The butler sneered, "Hmph, you're too naive. There's a huge secret hidden behind this treasure, one that you can't handle."
Conan said, "No matter what, we won't back down. Tell us what you know."
The butler hesitated for a moment before finally speaking: "Actually, the former owner of this castle once made a deal with an evil wizard and obtained this treasure. But the wizard placed a curse, and anyone who possesses the treasure will suffer misfortune. Over the years, there has been constant infighting within the family over the treasure, and many people have lost their lives as a result."
"Then why are you still so fixated on this treasure?" Ai Haibara asked.
A glint of greed flashed in the butler's eyes: "If I can break the curse and obtain this treasure, I will have endless wealth and power."
Conan said, "What you're doing will only hurt more people."
Just then, a commotion arose outside the castle.
"Oh no, something seems to have happened," Ran Mouri said.
They arrived outside the castle and discovered that a group of strangers had broken in.
"Hand over the treasure!" shouted one of the men in the lead.
It turns out that these people had heard rumors of the castle's treasure and came to steal it.
Conan and the others fought with these people, while the butler tried to escape in the chaos.
"Don't run!" Conan chased after them.
During the chase, Conan discovers that the butler has entered the entrance to a basement.
They followed them into the basement, which was filled with all sorts of mechanisms and traps.
"Everyone be careful!" Conan warned.
Lin Yu used his high-tech equipment to crack some of the mechanisms.
Finally, they found the butler deep in the basement.
"You can't escape now," Conan said.
The butler said in despair, "Even if you capture me, you won't be able to break the curse."
Just then, Emily appeared.
“I know how to break the curse,” Emily said.
It turned out that Emily found an old diary in the castle's study, which contained the method to break the curse.
Following the instructions in the diary, they successfully lifted the curse.
The strange phenomena in the castle also disappeared.
"It's finally over." Ran Mouri breathed a sigh of relief.
However, things weren't that simple. Those who came to seize the treasure didn't give up; they regrouped and prepared to attack the castle...
