After Conan hung up the phone, all his friends' eyes were on him.
"A new case?" Ran Mouri asked.
Conan nodded, his expression serious: "They didn't say much on the phone, just told us to go to a place."
Lin Yu leaned closer curiously: "Where are you going?"
Conan took out a piece of paper with an address written on it.
The group decided to head to this mysterious location immediately. Upon arrival, they discovered it was an ancient castle.
"This place looks eerie." Nightshade couldn't help but shiver.
Ai Haibara pushed up her glasses: "Be careful, there might be danger."
They entered the castle, which was filled with an air of antiquity. An invitation lay on a table in the main hall.
Conan opened the invitation, which read: "Welcome to the Castle of Death. Solve the mysteries here, or you will be trapped forever."
"What does this mean?" Kimura frowned.
Ran Mouri said, "Anyway, let's look around first."
They began to explore the castle. The castle had many rooms, each filled with an eerie atmosphere.
In one room, they found some strange symbols carved on the wall.
"These symbols seem to follow some kind of pattern," Conan observed carefully.
Lin Yu took out his camera and photographed the symbols, intending to study them later.
They continued on their way and came to a library. The bookshelves were filled with ancient books.
Ai Haibara picked up a book at random and discovered that the text inside was an ancient code.
“This is going to be difficult,” Nightshade said.
Just then, a sinister laugh suddenly rang out.
"Who?" Conan asked warily.
However, no one answered, but laughter echoed through the castle.
They quickened their pace and arrived at a basement. The basement was filled with all sorts of strange experimental equipment.
Kimura picked up a bottle containing a green liquid.
What is this?
Suddenly, the bottle shattered, and green liquid splashed out, releasing a pungent fumes.
Everyone quickly covered their mouths and noses.
When the smoke cleared, they found the basement door was closed.
"Damn it, we're trapped," Lin Yu said.
Conan calmly said, "Don't panic, there's definitely a way out."
They began searching for an exit and discovered a mechanism in a corner.
Ran Mouri tried pressing the button, and the door slowly opened.
However, outside the door was a dark corridor.
They cautiously entered the corridor, when suddenly the lights flickered and a dark figure swept past them.
"Ah!" Ran Mouri screamed.
Conan gave chase, but the shadowy figure vanished.
They continued on and came to a huge banquet hall.
The tables in the banquet hall were laden with food, but it was all rotten.
“This place is too eerie,” Nightshade said.
Just then, a painting on the wall suddenly fell down, revealing a hidden compartment.
There was a diary in the hidden compartment.
Conan opened the diary, which contained the secrets of the castle.
It turns out that the castle's owner once conducted a terrible experiment, which resulted in the castle being cursed.
“To break the curse, we must find the master’s treasure,” Conan said.
They began searching for clues to the treasure.
In one of the rooms, they found a combination lock.
Ai Haibara successfully unlocked the combination lock using the symbols and password she had previously discovered.
Inside is a passageway, and at the end of the passageway is a door.
They pushed open the door and found it filled with gold and silver jewelry.
"Is this the treasure?" Kimura asked.
Conan shook his head: "This is only part of it; the key to truly breaking the curse has not yet been found."
Just then, the castle began to shake violently.
"Oh no, the curse is about to take effect!" Lin Yu shouted.
They searched through the treasure and finally found a crystal ball.
"Perhaps this is the key." Conan picked up the crystal ball.
Suddenly, the crystal ball emitted light, illuminating the entire room.
After the light disappeared, they found themselves back in the castle's main hall.
"We're out?" Ran Mouri couldn't believe it.
Conan said, "It seems the curse has been lifted."
Just then, a mysterious person appeared.
“You’ve done a great job,” the mysterious man said.
"Who are you?" Conan asked.
The mysterious man smiled and said, "I am the guardian of the castle. Thank you for lifting the curse."
After saying that, the mysterious man disappeared.
Conan and the others left the castle, their minds filled with questions.
What secrets does this mysterious castle hold? And who is that mysterious person? They know that many more mysteries await them to unravel...
