It was a dark night with a light breeze and no rain.
At the same time that Tang Ze was counting the rewards, a bar that was supposed to be open for business was closed today.
A sign saying "Closed" was hung outside the door, refusing entry to all customers.
The bar was also dark and empty, but deep underground there was a different world.
I'm afraid even the guests who come here to drink on a daily basis would never have imagined that there is a huge underground building under their feet.
In a conference room, a group of members of the black organization sat down with different expressions.
Gin had a gloomy expression, while Chianti, on the other hand, had a look of gloating that he didn't hide.
Apart from that, Vermouth, Gil, and Bourbon all drank the drinks in front of them with normal expressions.
"Brother, I'm here."
Vodka walked out of the door with a pale face. You could vaguely see that the exposed part of his shoulder was wrapped in a white bandage.
"Vodka, if you're seriously injured, just lie down in bed." Vermouth exhaled smoke from her lungs: "This conversation isn't that important."
"It's just a flesh wound, nothing serious." Vodka shook his head, then sat down next to Gin and poured himself a glass of wine and drank it all.
Gin, who was standing by, ignored the conversation between the two and spoke directly when Vodka drank.
"Everyone is here, let's start." Gin said in a cold tone.
"Start what?"
Chianti sneered: "If you want to say it, it's you who should say it. There is nothing wrong on our side.
Although we were the bait, the other side did send out that traitor.
Although the other party planned an escape route, unfortunately we were still one step ahead.
"Does that mean Shirley is definitely dead?"
Faced with Chianti's provocation, Gin simply chose to ignore it and looked at Vermouth and the other two.
"We saw the train car explode right before our eyes!!"
Seeing that he was ignored by Gin, Chianti could not help but get angry: "What do you mean, do you doubt that what we said is true?!"
But Gin still ignored the irritable Chianti and turned his attention to the three Bourbon people next to him.
"Shirley hid in the carriage, and then her companions blew up the connection between the carriages." Bourbon said.
"But Vermouth had planted a bomb in the carriage in advance." Kiel added: "We watched the carriage explode."
Hearing what the two said, Gin turned his head slightly and looked at Vermouth who was drinking.
"Why? Surprised?"
Vermouth took a sip of wine, met Gin's gaze and smiled, saying, "I borrowed your plan, but it's a little softer than yours."
"Well done." Gin said expressionlessly.
"Thanks for the compliment."
Vermouth said, "This is mainly because they were going after you two. The Suzuki was just bait, so we were able to take the bait."
"Our actions must be kept secret throughout the entire process." Gin did not agree with Vermouth's words, but instead changed the subject to something completely irrelevant.
As soon as Gin asked the question, the scene fell silent, with only the sound of breathing of varying lengths echoing in the room.
Because everyone knew what Gin meant, and understood that he was questioning whether there was a traitor among them who had sold out the information.
"Oh, the operation is of course confidential."
Chianti broke the brief silence with a cold laugh: "Otherwise, how could we have successfully killed Shirley? The problem is with you, Gin, and it has nothing to do with us!"
As soon as Chianti said this, Gin's face turned dark instantly. He had originally planned to shift the topic to the issue of internal traitors after questioning.
But Chianti happened to interrupt, and either because he had a brain or accidentally said something that was "heartbreaking", which made Gin lose face.
But Gin had no way to refute it, because what the other party said was indeed true. The train crew killed the target, but they were beaten so badly that they couldn't even raise their heads. Even all the people he brought with him were left there.
If there is a traitor, he should be on their side. After all, the four people on the train have a record of fighting, but they are the ones who caused trouble.
Now he wanted to cause trouble for the four-person group on the train. Suspecting that there was something wrong with them was unreasonable in itself, and it was even more so when he was confronted by this young man named Chianti.
"Haha, what Chianti said is not quite to the point, but I think it does make sense."
Vermouth flicked the ash off her cigarette, as if not noticing Gin's gloomy expression, and began to analyze: "Judging from the results alone, the enemy clearly placed their main force on Gin and his team. The train was completely planned as a decoy and an escape."
"In other words, we used our main force to counter their bait, while they used their main force to counter our backhand."
Bourbon smiled and analyzed: "Vermouth, you mean to say that this situation is not strange, right?"
"The enemy set up a bait and then chose to make a feint to the east and attack in the west. If I hadn't suffered several heavy losses and thought of using this as a means of turning the tables when encountering a bad situation, the other party might have really been able to complete the bait plan." Vermouth nodded.
Except for Gil who remained silent, the other three were refuting Gin's points one after another.
This is understandable. After all, the four-member group has made great contributions, but Gin, as the leader, failed and wanted to find the "hero group" to take the blame.
No one can accept this situation.
"Let me ask you, Vermouth, did anyone know about the bomb being planted?"
