Wei Qingfen was born in 1960.

My parents were college students after the founding of New China. After graduating from the Normal College, they were assigned to be teachers at Luoxian No. 1 Middle School. They were very happy about the arrival of their first child.

They didn't know that this daughter, who was born in a difficult period, would plagiarize her sister's works and become a well-known romance novelist in China under the pen name Wei Lan, but would eventually die a violent death.

1960 was a difficult time for the economy, and the whole country was tightening its belt to make ends meet. Fortunately, Wei's parents were well-educated and had stable jobs, and their income level was enough to support the family of three. As the only child in the family at that time, Wei Qingfen was doted on.

In 1966, my younger sister Wei Qingfang was born.

In the same year, the Great Movement began.

This era was very chaotic. Intellectuals were called "stinking ninths" and their social status was lower than that of farmers and workers. Children in school were also busy criticizing in the noisy world and had no interest in learning.

Wei's parents were both from poor peasant families and were not affected. However, the pure land of school was no longer peaceful. There were few children in the classroom, which made them feel lost. They sighed every day and paid less attention to their second daughter.

Children born in two different periods of time can also be seen to have different personalities.

The eldest, Wei Qingfen, is courageous and confident, with a somewhat overbearing and domineering personality; the second oldest, Wei Qingfang, is timid and introverted, keeping everything to himself and not daring to tell his family.

The two sisters grew up day by day.

Wei Qingfen, who was favored by her parents, had average academic performance. After the college entrance examination was resumed in 1977, she failed in 1978. After graduating from high school, she was admitted to Luo County Jinsui Bank and became an ordinary teller.

Wei Qingfen thought it was great at first. She was only 19 years old and could start working and get paid. Although the job was boring, she had the income to dress herself up. She was good-looking and the way she dressed up was simply stunning. She attracted countless suitors and the threshold of the Wei family was almost broken down.

By 1980, Wei Qingfen began to feel dissatisfied.

First, with the reform and opening up, many people who moved south have made money. She works in a bank, and every day she sees rich people come to deposit money, thousands or tens of thousands of yuan pass through their hands, but not a penny is theirs. She only gets a salary of more than 30 yuan a month. Comparing yourself with others makes you angry, and Wei Qingfen feels unbalanced.

Secondly, my sister, who had no sense of existence at home, was admitted to Luo County No. 1 Middle School with excellent grades. Not only did my sister have good grades, but she was also good-looking, wrote well, and had a gentle personality. Everyone who saw her praised her: she had a promising future, a good child, and was better than your sister.

My parents' attitude towards my sister has completely changed. They now treat her like a treasure and are determined to train her to be a college student. They serve her well and provide her with one-on-one training.

Compared with others, Wei Qingfen felt that she was poor;

Compared with her sister, Wei Qingfen felt that she was not good enough.

Jealousy made her mentally twisted.

On a summer night, Wei Qingfen brought the mosquito coils close to the curtains and watched the curtains being engulfed by the flames.

She pretended to be unable to sleep, walked out of the room, closed the door quietly, and left her sleeping parents and sister inside.

The fire grew bigger and bigger.

At Luoxian No. 1 Middle School, Teacher Wei’s two-bedroom, one-living room house was engulfed in flames.

By the time firefighters arrived and put out the fire, two people were killed and one was seriously injured.

Both parents died, and Wei Qingfang suffered severe burns all over her body. When she was rescued, her face was completely unsightly, her throat was burned, and one of her legs was lame.

No one suspected Wei Qingfen, and everyone thought that the fire was caused by mosquito coils igniting the curtains in summer.

Who could have imagined that a girl who was only 20 years old would be so perverted that she burned her parents to death and her sister out of jealousy?

Wei Qingfen was a guilty thief and was worried all the time.

She originally just wanted to scare her family, but she didn't know that water and fire were so merciless and out of control.

After all, they are blood relatives, and the heavy burden of killing her parents is weighing her down on her shoulders, making it hard for Wei Qingfen to breathe.

Wei Qingfen resigned from Luo County and came to the bustling Kyoto with her sister who had to drop out of school due to disfigurement and disability.

It was not easy to work outside, and Wei Qingfen was born beautiful, so she suffered a lot. Until one day, she found her sister's manuscript, and suddenly she had a glimmer of hope.

After Wei Qingfang was injured, she could only read books at home. She was a smart girl and vented all her emotions through writing. The novels she wrote were ingeniously plotted, with vivid characters and a touch of sadness between the lines, which made people cry. Such novels are in line with the current trend.

Wei Qingfen took her sister's completed novel and submitted it to various publications.

At first, he was rejected because of his lack of fame, but his high-quality work soon made him famous and began to be serialized in magazines.

The pen name Wei Lan gradually became famous.

Then, Wei Qingfen met Yu Huimin, the president of a publishing house. Yu Huimin was attracted by her youth, beauty and literary talent; Wei Qingfen was attracted by his wealth and power, and by his ability to help her publish and make money. The two of them soon hooked up, and one novel after another was published, and Wei Lan's name became completely famous.

Wei Qingfang knew nothing.

She only knew that her novel had been published and the money she earned was enough to support the two sisters. As for how much money she could make or how famous she would be, Wei Qingfang didn't care.

For the simple and introverted Wei Qingfang, as long as someone likes her work, she is valuable. Writing novels can make her forget her disability and make her feel that she is a useful person, which is more important than anything else.

Wei Qingfang, who had a strong desire to create, put all her energy into writing. The touching love stories she told moved countless readers.

With the help of Yu Huimin, Wei Qingfen made a fortune from her novels, received numerous awards and honors, joined the Writers Association, and became a famous writer.

Wei Qingfang still had no idea.

It was not until Wei Qingfen was murdered by Yu Huimin's men, until the police came to the villa her sister bought, and until the leader of the Writers Association checked with her about her creative process, that she learned that her work had been plagiarized by her sister.

Wei Qingfang has always lived a simple life, with low demands for material things and no awareness of the sufferings of the world. Therefore, her novels are full of idealism, presenting readers with a beautiful and holy world.

Now, her world has completely collapsed.

The author of "Blue" was actually Wei Qingfang, not Wei Qingfen. When the news came out, the entire literary world was shocked.

Wei Lan's works have touched countless people, weaving one dream of love after another, allowing everyone to find a pure paradise of love in this impetuous and utilitarian world.

In the past, everyone thought that the writer was Wei Qingfen, and all the praise and laurels went to her. Even if she was a mistress, even if she was willing to destroy a family in order to climb up, everyone still chose to forgive her, because the work would not deceive people, and everyone believed that she was running for love.

But now, Wei Lan's true face has been exposed. She deceived everyone. She plagiarized her sister's work blatantly. This Wei Qingfen has been deceiving the readers!

Wei Qingfen is utilitarian and mercenary. She abandons her face, dignity and personality for fame and fortune. How could such a person write such a beautiful story?

The real Wei Lan is a poor woman burned by a fire.

Wei Qingfang dropped out of school at the age of fifteen and has since immersed himself in the world of literature, writing one story after another.

She was imprisoned in a villa by her sister and could only walk around in the villa yard.

However, even though her life was so tragic, Wei Qingfang's story was still full of hope. She did not seek fame or wealth, nor did she complain or hate. As long as she had books to read, wealth was nothing.

Comparing the two compartments, the readers' emotional balances all tilted towards Wei Qingfang.

Although Wei Qingfang had a lame leg.

Although Wei Qingfang's face was disfigured, she looked ugly and terrifying.

Although Wei Qingfang couldn't speak.

But she is a beautiful, pure person, a hundred, a thousand, ten thousand times better than that Qingfen who only has fame and fortune in her eyes and herself in her heart.

Countless readers wrote letters to the Writers Association and publishing houses, and some called television stations and newspapers, demanding a thorough investigation into the Wei Lan cheating incident and justice for Wei Qingfang.

Letters flew to Wei Qingfang like snowflakes.

Wei Qingfang, who was living alone in a villa, saw the letters from readers and felt their warm hearts. She finally overcame her fear of society and bravely walked out.

The Hunan Writers Association extended a helping hand to Wei Qingfang.

The Writers Association cannot bear to see such a talented writer being buried.

All the treatment that Wei Lan had in the past, including position, salary and welfare, were given to Wei Qingfang, helping her to adapt to the society step by step.

Wei Qingfen has no children, and her husband Yu Huimin is her murderer and has no right to inherit the estate.

All of Wei Qingfen's inheritance will be inherited by Wei Qingfang.

All the money that Wei Lan earned and all the properties she invested in finally returned to their original owners, and Wei Qingfang became a rich man overnight.

But Wei Qingfang didn't have much concept of money. He just wanted someone to take care of his three meals a day and a desk to write.

She donated most of her property to the city library because she relied on books in the library to keep her company during her illness. She used the rest to fund the construction of a library in Luo County to bring more spiritual food to the children.

Such blue makes people love it even more.

Wei Qingfang did not disappoint everyone and she continued writing.

Wei Qingfang found new writing inspiration from the letters Zhao Chenyang wrote to her.

A love story that spans thousands of years and is full of lingering emotions is written down in my pen, titled "A Thousand Years, Just to See You"

As soon as the story came out, it became a big hit.

The story is creative and based on rigorous historical research. The clash of thoughts and cognition, and the entanglement of love and hate between the male and female protagonists spanning thousands of years are vividly portrayed by Wei Qingfang.

After Yu Huimin's son Jun Yuyi took over his father's publishing house, he collaborated with Wei Qingfang, still using the pen name Wei Lan, and published the story "Traveling Through a Thousand Years Just to See You".

Soon after, the novel was adapted into a film and television series.

The name Wei Lan became more and more famous.

Wei Qingfang felt like all this was just a dream.

She thanked the police for finding the murderer of Wei Qingfen and discovering Wei Lan's secret.

She thanked the Hunan Writers Association for extending a helping hand.

She thanks the enthusiastic readers who wrote letters to encourage and comfort her.

In this world, although there are people like Wei Qingfen who pursue fame and fortune, plagiarize her sister's work, and hurt others out of jealousy, there are also police officers who punish evil and promote good, and groups and individuals who are willing to help the weak.

There are still many good people in this world, right?

The story of Wei Lan also came to an end.

The next book "The Beast Whisperer of the Nineties" will probably start serialization in January next year. Do you want to read a crime story or a story about parents' troubles?
