Liu Yuner looked at her son's small back, feeling really depressed. After thinking for a while, she went to Mrs. Qin's room again.
Wei was naturally there too.
As soon as he entered the door, he knelt down respectfully to pay his respects.
Although the two old ladies looked down on her, they were pleased to see her being so respectful, compared to Xie Wanyun's coldness, arrogance and dominance.
Madam Qin said, "Get up. You've been coming to the mansion quite often these days. Do you have any ideas?"
Liu Yun'er felt a little nervous.
I thought to myself that she was indeed an old lady, with a sharp eye, and could tell at a glance that she had something up her sleeve.
She pretended to be in a dilemma and said softly, "Madam, Madam, Yun'er has an idea in her mind, but she doesn't know whether she should tell it or not."
Wei really wanted to spit at her after hearing this! You're here just to cause trouble? And yet you're still pretending.
Then his face turned cold and he said unhappily, "Just say it if you want to."
Liu Yun'er then whispered softly, "Yun'er has been coming here more often these days because I'm worried about Quan Ge'er. The eldest lady is teaching him martial arts, and I'm so worried! I'm really afraid that he will join the army in the future. If anything goes wrong, then..."
As he spoke, he took out his handkerchief to wipe his tears.
When Wei heard this, she flew into a rage! She spat at her fiercely and cursed, "Foolish thing! How old is Quan'er? How dare you, as his mother, curse him like that?"
Liu Yun'er was stunned. Why didn't this happen according to the prescribed plot?
He shook his head hurriedly and said, "Why would I curse my own child? This child is obsessed with martial arts now, I'm just worried..."
As he said this, he began to sob again.
Madam Qin half-closed her eyes, twirling the Buddhist beads in her hand, and said coldly, "Alright, you don't have to worry too much. After all, Quan'er is still young, and he might not have settled down yet. Who knows, maybe one day he won't like martial arts anymore? Besides, practicing martial arts is good for your health, so just let him be. If you insist on opposing it, it might even backfire."
Wei nodded hurriedly, "That's exactly what you said! The old lady is very insightful. Liu Yun'er, you should stop causing trouble."
When Liu Yun'er heard this, she became anxious. What should she do?
His eyes rolled around, and he remembered something. He didn't even bother to ask if he should say it before he spoke.
"There's one more thing. The Madam is so busy! She has to run the household, manage the shop, and teach Quan Ge'er. I'm worried she's exhausted! If I could help her with some of the burden, that would be great!"
Madam Qin and Mrs. Wei looked at each other and fell into deep thought.
Seeing that they were silent, Liu Yuner felt uncertain. She tentatively asked, "Old lady?"
Old Madam Qin winked at Wei. There was always a tacit understanding between the mother-in-law and the daughter-in-law, and Wei understood immediately.
He cleared his throat and said to Liu Yun'er sternly, "The old lady and I both understand your feelings. It's getting late today, so go back first and come back tomorrow."
Liu Yuner saw that things had come to this point, and it would be unreasonable for her to refuse to leave any longer. However, it seemed that the two old ladies had listened to her advice. There was hope!
Then he respectfully took his leave.
After she left, Wei asked Madam Qin, "Madam, are you planning to let Xie Wanyun hand over the power? I'm afraid she's unwilling."
Old Madam Qin just kept twirling the Buddhist beads in her hand, closing her eyes and saying nothing.
Wei waited for a long time, and getting impatient, she urged again, "Old Madam?"
Madam Qin then opened her eyes and said slowly and deliberately, "Of course she is unwilling to hand over power."
Wei: “……?”
So what are you planning?
"It's okay to share some power, right? We are all doing this for her own good!" Old Lady Qin said slowly, a sinister light glimmering in her slightly closed eyes.
